All this walking about with the phone is not normal behaviour. Not just for H but any child. Sorry it’s not. I seen Aimee saying in one of her videos sometimes children have to go places like Tesco etc with adults and put up with it and not be entertained the whole time. Yes aimless. I totally agree but that means no phones and iPads as they wander around the shop, totally oblivious to their surroundings and engrossed in the same programme they’ve been glued to all day.
Take the phone off her, take the headphones off her. Give her a small list of her own of things to look for/find and buy. Talk about prices, what’s cheaper, where things come from…..just take the phones off them!!!!!!!

The excuse is always “kids of today have technology”. Maybe so and I don’t necessarily limit screen time for my own but a phone for an 8 year old?? Even if she doesn’t text or call, an 8 year should be enjoying their childhood not glued to a phone or tablet. Poor thing couldn’t wait to get home to minecraft either. Does she ever play with actual toys? Sad world we live in now!

Talking of friends, I wonder if the poor child has any pals at school, or she the one stood in the corner of the playground on her own?
It looks like she‘s not seen anyone from school the whole summer holiday - this isn’t right surely? You meet up at least once Turing the 6+ week summer break wouldn’t you?
Obviously a very lonely little soul. (With an utter witch for a mother!)
I always think this, and are there no other kids in the neighbourhood? Surely there must be..aimless probs fallen out with, or had issues with half the parents!! Just son" abnormal"..🥺

I don’t have kids but I have a 9 year old nephew and my brother and sister in law have always been very strict when it comes to screen time, it’s always been limited and he can play games or watch things as a treat, luckily he’s a very good kid and happy doing other creative things and is always making stuff, drawing, playing with Lego etc or playing outside etc and has never been super fussed about it, he has an old phone of my mums but he wanted it to listen to music on, so that’s all it’s used for, everything else is turned off, no sim etc and he can’t do anything else with it, I’m not a parent so appreciate there are times when you just need some time to get stuff done and that’s the only option for some easy peace and quiet, but def don’t think it’s something that should be used all the time or just to stop your kid playing up or keep them entertained etc because you can’t be arsed to :

I actually believe Aimless just has a lot of enemies which in turn leaves her daughter secluded. 😢
But why doesn’t she go to any clubs/activities? Swimming, gymnastics, rainbows. There are lots of clubs for children where she could meet new friends. It’s like she wants to keep her locked up in that house and only go out with her and twit hat! I’m sorry but it’s not normal for a child of that age to do absolutely nothing with friends her own age.

I have no words

Because if Harper says no then she doesn’t do it. Swimming is a prime example of that, Harper has refused for years. I remember the video where Aimee said Harper had finally agreed but she’s still not been to lessons yet. She contradicted herself though because at first she said she won’t force Harper to do things she doesn’t want to do as that had a negative effect on her as a child but now she’s saying sometimes kids have to do things they don’t always want to do. So get her into swimming lessons then, it’s a very important life skill. She won’t though because she’s lazy or ‘anxious’

The absolute effing state of it!! !
think she should’ve sized up a bit too - looks a bit snug for a onesie- silly witch!!
Jesus Christ far too small! She will never have that off her bloody back now! 🙄🙄🙄

That's how it comes across...it's totally abnormal.😳

The walking around a shop attached to a tablet is awful. I don’t necessarily limit my daughters screen time, if we’re at home she can go on it as she likes, and actually having the choice of when she is allowed to use it has actually meant she uses it less and less recently because she knows it’s there if she wants it. However, it only leaves the house for long journeys. And on said long journeys; it says in the car once we have arrived at the destination. Never ever would I let her walk around a shop holding it.

i tell you know, there are no additional needs. She looks lost all the time because she doesn’t know how to act when she’s not attached to a screen, and that is allAimee’s fault
