Who actually talks to their 8yr old like that.."oh mummy get that for you" wise up! I said that when my son was a baby, he would look at me if I spoke to him like that when he was that age!?!

I can’t get over Harper eating her hammy sammy with a phone at the table and whilst walking around M&S again with the phone in her hand, pretty sure she was holding it in primark too. Aimee you need to limit screens no wonder Harper seems a little lost. She’s not engaging with the outside world and oblivious to anything that’s going on around her she has no idea half the time what anyones talking about. Bring her up like a child should be Aimee. Where are Harpers friends? Where’s your friends with children? I want to shake her so bad to wake her up to reality

I found that M&S video quite tough to watch to be honest same as the one where she’s questioning Harper about her holiday in Wales.

I’ve said from the first thread I think where are Harpers friends and still non have emerged.
I find it all very sad for that little girl.
 
All this walking about with the phone is not normal behaviour. Not just for H but any child. Sorry it’s not. I seen Aimee saying in one of her videos sometimes children have to go places like Tesco etc with adults and put up with it and not be entertained the whole time. Yes aimless. I totally agree but that means no phones and iPads as they wander around the shop, totally oblivious to their surroundings and engrossed in the same programme they’ve been glued to all day.
Take the phone off her, take the headphones off her. Give her a small list of her own of things to look for/find and buy. Talk about prices, what’s cheaper, where things come from…..just take the phones off them!!!!!!!
 
Talking of friends, I wonder if the poor child has any pals at school, or she the one stood in the corner of the playground on her own?
It looks like she‘s not seen anyone from school the whole summer holiday - this isn’t right surely? You meet up at least once Turing the 6+ week summer break wouldn’t you?
Obviously a very lonely little soul. (With an utter witch for a mother!)
