She cant use a knife and fork?? Is this a genuine thing and theres something wrong with her? Ive never noticed i just thought aimless enjoyed either infantilising her with plastic plates or aging her 5 years as a "prenager"

There’s several videos where they’ve been on holiday and Wendy’s cut her food up and she’s heard saying let me cut that food for you.

My daughter is 4 and makes herself squash, she even makes me one. And she makes herself cereal, always uses too much milk mind, but we’re learning 🤣. She also butters bread, we use a little spoon because she was finding it difficult with a knife and I think it’s such a good hack!! Can’t believe Aimee asked how harper wanted her food cut up, so so weird

Ex chef here and we used to use the back of the spoon to butter bread when we did sandwiches for buffets as it’s quicker and doesn’t rip the bread

cut is cut isn’t it. Doesn’t matter how. Just get it eaten 😂

I reckon she is.. like Wendy is scared of upsetting Aimee.

It also seemed to piss her off her child wanted extra to eat. Cooking 3 rashers of extra bacon is no effort unless it was the last 3 rashers and that pig wanted them

I can't help but notice just how much weight she's gained since then, and that's not a particularly flattering angle either!

Regarding the child's lack of basic skills, in my experience children naturally want to learn. Kids want to wash up (make a mess with water) butter their own bread (make a mess generally) but it's a learning process.

She's taught her child duck all except to have a poor choice in clothes, make up and hair.

I only thing I cut up for my youngest who’s 11 is sausage’s , otherwise she’s chasing them around her plate for ages 😂😂😂

My 10yo granddaughter with sensory issues can use a knife and fork because her mum took the time to sit with her and show her how until she got it, she can make cereal, toast, a sandwich, cut her own cucumber, make squash, get snacks from the fridge and the last 8 ish months has been allowed to make a cup of tea if she uses the travel kettle, and she’s only allowed that kettle atm due to her issues. She makes popcorn in the popcorn machine
She uses visual prompts for her morning routine from teeth brushing and getting washed & dressed to straightening out her duvet, it’s never perfect but she tries and that’s what it’s all about
She can also wash her own hair which is about the same length and texture as Harper although she does need help brushing out tangles
Her mum doesn’t expect any housework etc done but this child can work the dishwasher and washing machine too. She even onows how to scrub a toilet. She doesn’t do it, but she’s been shown
It’s a hard cruel world sometimes and kids need life skills
 
This beauty landed on my fyp.. going to the event overdressed to make a cake 😂

Seeing as she’s Uber boring today.. we can have a golden oldie 😂
