Oh duck that!!!!! They are both awful presenters, Alison was great on her own with the odd interviewing segment but that’s it. It hasn’t transferred well at all to full on presenting.

And Rochelle, I can’t even think of a reason she’s there other to than to add to the diversity 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I get it’s a daytime magazine show and not news night but this is very bad.

All true but I'm not sure that if Philochio and Willoughby had been back, that they would be able to handle any better, even if she put her best sadface on

I must admit I really like Vernon, and Dermot too. I can't stand Alison at all. She is way OTT. 😬 Even if TM put Vernon and Dermot together it would work much better than the pairing with Alison and Dermot.
At least they are professional and have proven they can host prime time shows on their own. Alison...ummm not so much 😬. She is nowhere near main presenter standard.
That's what I think anyway 😏

I am the total opposite, I prefer Alison to Dermot. Does she need some more time and experience before she is up to the usual standard of presenter? Yes. But does she have potential to be brilliant? Absolutely IMO, she does the light hearted side well already and I think she has progressed with taking on the more serious side that presenting a show like TM needs, but she still has a way to go with that admittedly. And you can tell she wants it, unlike Dermot who looks bored most of the time and talks over guests constantly, I wouldn’t call him professional from his stint on TM at all for those reasons. Don’t get me wrong, I am not anti-Dermot but I think he works best as a solo presenter for sure.I think given time and the right co-presenter, Alison will be great.
 
I see Alison as the comic turn. Good for a few minutes, but not the main event. Her previous role on the show was perfect for her. Every organisation has people who inexplicably rise up the ranks, get promoted, leaving colleagues baffled by their success. Alison is This Morning’s one. Dermot has always been a non-event, Mr Vanilla. This programme has deviated so far away from when it started. The hosts have got steadily worse, it has been dumbed down so much to appeal to who exactly? Ruth and Eamonn are easily the best, but too old and too white for tv production teams. But having said that Eamonn looks increasingly tetchy and bored lately when he covers, probably because he is privately scathing about the production management and can’t see any reason not to show it. Ruth is as professional as ever.
 
This Morning need to get rid of Phil and Holly. There likeablity has waned to a holt.

Tiresome and predictable with personal jokes that viewers dont get😒

Vernon leaves a bad taste after Tess Daly debacle..
but he is a good presenter
Albeit cheesy AF

Dullmot looks bored he is more for hosting entetainment shows...😫

This show has a journalistic element with news stories... Ruth, Eamon are great and experienced.


But Id love Fern Britton And Matthew Wright.
He is a great host and would bring energy to this ailing show!!

Mathhew Wright is better to replace Phil

Oh Philly and Holly have made me stop watching it altogether🥱
Keep Ruth and Eamonn though!

I saw a couple of the Jeremy Vine episodes last week (I assume he is on holiday) with Trisha ( I assume everyone knows her without a surname no idea what it is! :ROFLMAO:) but I think she would be a good presenter for this morning, she seems very knowledgable but also has the experience of less "serious" stuff

IMO - she is the last person I would choose as a presenter for TM, far too opinionated for a show like that.
