This Morning #4 Holly Gormless

Yeah Ben always does the serious interviews and Morning View thing. He did all the Ed Davey stuff and to be fair to him he is good at it and knows his stuff. Cat then comes in at the end to finish on a light hearted note
Exactly the same as Phil and Holly then. Phil did anything that required a brain, Holly just did the fluff bits.
It’s a shame they can’t find a female presenter with the depth to front the show on an equal footing.

The feckwits in charge at ITV and This Morning just don't get it do they? Making Cat apologise for a throwaway remark that countless people say all the time has brought far more attention on their idiocy than the remark itself ever did.

So saying that you're having a seizure is just a "throwaway remark"? My husband who has epilepsy didn't find it very funny! And many other people complained about it.
For someone who has been on tv for years it was unprofessional & I'm glad she was made to apologise.

ITV is a totally hypocritical corporation, any 'apology' they make regarding anything is an arse-covering exercise to protect their 'brand' and advertising revenue (which they are losing hand-over-fist). I'm pleased you're pleased with their apology, but I guarantee it's 100 percent disingenuous.

Oh I know it was obviously not heartfelt! The flippant way it was put just said it all. It is more the fact that she shouldn't have said it in the first place and she had to acknowledge that.

ITV ban under 18’s from working on TM after Schofield scandal

This article states that he paid MM to sign an NDA. I thought PS said that wasn’t true?

I'm glad they made her apologies...she's awful

I think they made a big mistake announcing new permanent presenters. Should have kept to the previous roster of different presenters with a good eye for which ones really clicked together and got good audience feedback. I don’t recall Cat or Ben being on that roster presenting together before, (please someone correct me if I’m wrong) so presumably most of their screen tests were done off air to test their chemistry.

Cat tries too hard and has too much nervous energy. Her face is very animated and that can distract from what’s she’s saying or from what Ben or someone else bring interviewed is saying.

Ben is a natural in front of the camera and he seems like a nice guy albeit a very safe and bland option.

Craig and Josie to me were the best combination of the previous rotation.
