That was so funny as she really didn't want him to tell the truth. She said she had found £20 in a car park and gave it to charity but Dermot just cracked up and said tell the truth and she was doing everything she could to not tell. In the end, after a prompting from Gyles Brandreth, Dermot said she went into a charity shop and spent £15 on a handbag and £5 on sweets so not actually giving it to charity.
There was also the story when she said she had not noticed that £10 grand was taken from her bank account for a car service instead of £1.000 until the garage told her a month later.
She is always the first to snaffle the stuff when the guests presenters are demonstrating goods.
