This Morning #2 Hosts are on a revolving door, the whole thing is a total bore

I quite like Alison's personally and she's great at the funny stuff but she's terrible at the rest. She has a serious lack of common knowledge and comes across as quite stupid at times. I think Dermot is embarrassed quite a lot too. He's fine on other shows but not on this morning and definitely not with Alison. I don't think he likes her very much.

Dermot is someone who keeps getting shunted from show to show. I've never rated him very highly, he tries really hard to be funny and interesting, but he's just NOT. I've nothing against him though, nor Alison - they're just not very good.

i got the goss from someone who worked or works with holly apparently she is a bleeping witch! she's so rude and doesn't like to talk to the public and relays what she wants to say through her PA instead of talking to people.
She sounds like a right Prima Donna. 🤮🤮

It's different when she's on the This Morning set with Philth Schofield though, then it's "Yes Phil, no Phil, three bags full Phil." She knows she'll be out on her ear if she upsets the Great Mr ITV!

I'm so annoyed. I can understand them having New Year's day off (if that fell on a Monday) but this is a Mickey take. They had all of Christmas week off as well.

Today is a bank holiday and for the most part they’ve always had bank holidays off. Schools don’t go back until tomorrow and a lot of people don’t go back to work until tomorrow

I’m surprised to see Alison & Dermot as well.

Does that mean Pip & Squeak aren’t back until next week? Does anyone remember when their last day was as it must be nearly 4 weeks off by the time they come back

Edit: I’ve just looked it up. Their last day was Friday 10th December (one of a few times they’ve ever presented on a Friday). So if they are back next Monday that will be more than 4 weeks off

December 10th they did their last live episode, so looks like they are back 1 month later on 10th January.

Oops sorry just edited my post before I saw yours

Why are they entitled to 4 weeks off over Christmas when most have about 2?

Wonder if they're preparing for DOI or something? Still no excuse and no excuse for subjecting us to this pair for an extra week!

DOI isn’t on this Sunday as football is on. I expect DOI will start on 16th Jan but there is no confirmation of that anywhere

DOI? Digital Object Identifier?

Does anyone actually WANT them back? Personally I wish ITV would give them both one LONG permanent holiday. They make me sick. to be honest!:sick: 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I haven't watched this show in ages, but just caught a clip of Vernon Kaye and Rochelle Humes. I don't think either if them are suited to present a show which requires some degree of seriousness on the part of the presenters. Vernon Kaye looks out of his depth.
By all means get them to present parts of the show, but don't expect either of them to carry the whole programme between them.
