Is a midwife allowed to perform tasks like that if it’s not their patient? What would happen if something went wrong? Insurance wouldn’t cover them surely

Interesting that the midwife is saying she can deliver in the midwife led unit. Not sure on what basis she is giving that undertaking vis a vis what the consultant’s view is.

My daughters best friends mum was a midwife at my hospital ….there’s no way she’d be looking up my floof one minute and talking to me at the school gates or socially. And she wouldn’t as she’s a professional.

Or is it like she alluded to a few months back - she now considers the midwife to be a friend? This is the midwife who has insta aspirations, so you can presume there’s some mutual ass kissing going on.

And surely crosses a professional boundary to make friends with your patient?

I think - in Sarah Land - the midwife has become a "friend" per photographer.

That said, Sarah clearly and obviously has ishoos so the midwife should be making it abundantly clear that it's a professional relationship. I suspect this may not have happened if the midwife is an insta ligger too. Silly person

Am I the only one hoping her Mam () hasn’t appeared yet because she’s babysitting one of her other grandchildren? Sarah would do her dinger!

Obviously in an ideal world Rob would be at the birth but loads of families don’t have anyone nearby to babysit their older kids when the time comes. Plus the photographer will be the only person she’s interested in being there (after herself)

I anticipate a lot of super busy people in their area between now and the baby being born
