I loathe Pantomimes!

Me too. The worst ever present someone gave me was panto tickets - my birthday is the arse end of panto season. I saw a wallet with the name of the theatre on it and got all excited, then it was tickets to a bloody pantomime. I wasn't expecting a gala night at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre or anything - I love a cheesy musical at the theatre and I even enjoyed Gio Pernice, ffs.

I took my kids a few years ago and they hated it as much as me thank god! They’re so cheesy and unfunny!

Ditto musicals. I bleeping hated every second of Mamma Mia the movie, I've hated every musical I've ever seen live and the Greys Anatomy musical episode came close to ruining the entire series for me.

Saying "so close to Christmas " whenever something bad happens.
For example, a young mother was tragically killed by a hit and run driver this weekend. People are tripping over themselves to comment how sad it is "so close to Christmas".
Like a 21 year old mother of a newborn baby losing her life isn't sad enough for them any other week of the year, the fact it happens Christmas week makes it sadder?!
Just one of those nonsense statements people make.
