She really doesn't see that she eats barely enough calories!
She'd be better off counting calories along side SW to maintain her weight!

If she lowers her target, she'll be verging on underweight. Considering she has at least 10lbs of loose skin. She must actually only weigh around 10 stone. And I think she's like 5ft 10?

It might go back up once shes back at work she rekons. No it wont!! How can she not see eating fruit for breakfast most days and then salad with only a bit of meat or not even that some days means she is barely eating anything substantial. Her meals are so small and of no real calories(apart from the odd dinner she has that isn't a childs portion) that she wont put on weight no matter how much creative chocolate she eats. Honestly for someone who is clearly intelligent I dont understand why she cant see why she keeps losing.

Surely being at work would make it worse! I always ate more on my days off than I did at work!
 
I won't bash slimming world because I have followed it in the past & lost weight; however I really don't think it's good for people like her, it is giving her such a bad relationship with food as she clearly has issues with food. At the stage she's at with her weight I agree she should be following more calorie controlled, to say she's had 27 syns is unhealthy when you're not losing weight & isn't a healthy approach to food.

Agree 100% with you. She may have had 27 Syns and looking at it as a bad thing... but I can guarantee she's still under for calories. That's only 540 calories if it's chocolate she's counting it for 🤔

I'm more gobsmacked that tiny bar is 540cals! 😲 but agree with you that seeing as she's probably eaten very little the rest of the day shes probably not even at 1000 cals yet. Even if shes eating enough chocolate to add up to 1500 cals a day, for her height that isn't enough for maintenance. She needs more substance to her actual meals, not more syns.

I always thought SW advised you to increase healthy extras rather than syns when you're at target, so you don't go back to your fat habits and end up slipping. She's one of these who skips meals so she can eat chocolate cals instead by the looks.. If you're gonna be that stupid at least choose something nicer! Does she realise she's being ripped off 😂🙄

Yes I'm pretty sure they do. But she rarely has her healthy extra a's anyway and she says shes been having double of her b's but who knows. All it boils down to is a simple thing of calories in v's calories out and she is clearly burning off more than she is eating. She needs to make sure she eats 3 decent proper portioned meals a day then see how well she is maintaining. Eating rabbit food and tiny portions and then filling up on chocolate is not the way to go.
 
She needs at least 2000 calories a day and that's without her exercising to maintain. She walks miles on top of that so probably needs around 2500 calories to maintain and I don't think she even hits 1500!
 
No you don't. You moaned and fretted during your whole pregnancy about your weight gain.

I hate to say it because she has done so well with her weight loss but those videos she has just put up she looks unhealthy
 
On one of her recent posts “just one syn to count for the juice of an orange”

Ye gods.
I’m a ex slimming worlder, social media really change my perspective on it and I stopped going 8 weeks ago. This morning, on my feed, I have seen a woman raving about sun free fruit juice from Tesco, as she has really missed fruit juice because you are “not allowed” it on SW.
Another post showed a 9 month pregnant woman weighing in and then saying she has 6 weeks to get back to target otherwise she will have to pay 🙈.
It saddens me what it is doing for mental health, my own relationship with food became unhealthy and I am starting to repair that. But these woman are obsessed to the point of restriction. And to the restrict your own children!

If 3 biscuits are 60 cals then I'm sure her son can eat a whole one at a time.... god I'd love to see how she will cope when he is older and constantly asking for choc choc like we get in our house... restricting him so much will only lead to him binging later in life because he wont be allowed sweet treats.

I agree that she is starting to look gaunt and ill in recent posts. No example to be setting for her son.

Exactly. I have struggled with my own kids, worrying they'll grow up over weight like I did. But my Husband said to me if you restrict them, it will have the opposite effect. So I've tried without worrying. It's so difficult and gets to me at times but I refuse to cause them to have disordered eating like I have my whole life.
