Emily Aurora Alton Sanbrooke.
Aurora Alton Sanbrooke.

Nod to a Disney Princess with Aurora.
Emily Alton is the small child from the haunted doll house from the former ghost train which is now The Curse (of Emily Alton).

No idea for a boy. The scan looks very girly.

*edit for awful spelling*

Alright, which of you lot posted these on the announcement video 🤣

I think "Mother and baby are doing well" is going to be the new "It is what it is, it's one of them really".

Few minutes in to the Disneyland Paris vlog and there's one of those weird "speaking to them as if they aren't real people" "HULLO!"s to the cast members at the entrance. It's good to see.

I can’t believe they’re already discussing height restrictions for the rides and ticking off ride milestones with the baby. How big is this baby going to be!

How long after the birth do we think he'll leave it before he's insisting they go for a 'family day out'? Baby's due early June, I bet he'll be dragging the poor thing around theme parks ASAP in the blazing heat in so he can get as many rides in before the school holidays.

Still amused at how they think they're going to keep up the travelling with the baby. Babies are only supposed to go in car seats for 2hrs at a time with a decent break during the journey and that assumes you've got an easy, placid baby. Travelling with infants is possible but it takes twice as long with three times the amount of stuff and you're knackered and wanting to go home before you've even arrived.

It always makes me laugh when he talks about having a pint. Nothing wrong with not drinking but I am sure he has never drunk a beer in his life but for some reason makes out he enjoys a pint.

Oh they certainly like a drink. There's a story about them getting steaming and fighting with other vloggers in a Wetherspoons on the opening weekend of Blackpool Pleasure Beach one year.

I'm banking my money on :

Girl: Emily
Boy: Alex

Shaun will take any possibility of a potential newspaper article on a babies name and freebie gifts if he can name the child after something established in the theme park marketing sphere.

The chance to have a lifetime ticket for a baby named after Emily Alton?... yep count him in.

Name her after the current managing director of the Drayton Manor park?... will do!

Name her 'Disney' to bank some megabucks on a lifetime pass to the parks? where can he sign.

The next 6 months are gonna be tough for charlottle, walking, sleeping, all the uncontrollable bits that most who've never gone through childbirth have no idea of.. let alone the changes that you face afterwards, and thats before you have to factor in the childs needs on a hour by hour basis in the first few months.

For Shaun the next few months are..
  1. Lining up trips for coaster credits
  2. Revisiting each of the local parks for season updates
  3. Contacting EVERY baby company he can for sponsorships and freebies to showcase on the secondary channel.

I don't think it's really gonna hit him hard how much time he'll lose out of his days until the child is born, and he can't just walk out of his parental duties under the guise of vlogging is a full time job. it may pay the bills, but his flexibility should enable him to cover Charlotte's off-days.. and there will be a lot, where she's gonna feel 'left out' from her friends activities, a 3rd wheel to the channel, and stuck at home like a prison sentence.

The best thing all round is to let him get on with it, Charlotte stays at home, takes baby to mum and baby groups and makes friends. The way things are at the moment it is quite isolating for her as she is constantly stuck to his side going round theme parks.

I don't know whether it is in part because he is an only child, or whether there is also some sort of neurodivergence, but Shawn comes across as quite single minded at times, I don't know how he will react when the baby comes along, everything changes and he realises that the baby isn't just a doll that will lie quietly in its pram whilst you walk around blabbering in the parks.

They are a good few years away from any real rides with the kid. It is exciting as a parent seeing them hit those hight / ride milestones though.
