I do yes. There’s still a lot of stigma associated to tattoos & someone’s “ability” to do their job sadly.

It's sad that that is still a thing in some places.
I'm fairly senior in the civil service, and I have visible tattoos, facial piercings and dyed hair, and im very grateful that it's accepted and my ability to do my job is never questioned due to my appearance.

That’s so lovely to hear! It’s about the person, their morals and beliefs and how they treat others and service users in a public facing job. Some organisations are still stuck on what “professionalism” is meant to look like. When I tell people my job role they often don’t “believe” it because of the way I look but I’ve done it for a long time, with a degree and 15 years experience behind me . I think people associate tattoos especially face/ hands/ neck with prison/ criminal behaviour or unemployment with the media constantly forcing out negative stories of people claiming benefits with a faces full of random tattoos all merged together but some are very tasteful, well done and feminine.

I know this particular thread is not a hate one, but this girl gets right on my nerves. I don’t know if she already has a thread on here somewhere.
She used to appear on my FYP ages ago, I haven’t seen her in so long. But she’s back on a psych ward AGAIN. I can’t imagine how much she is costing the NHS. She frustrates the hell out of me.

Yep. I saw a TikTok once and it was a nurse or someone who works in this kind of area. They said it’s the young ones that always have the forehead injuries because they bang their heads

not a weird tiktok post but is anyone else invested in the hurricane milton tiktoks ? I keep going back on to see if there are updates - there are several accounts who have popped up in the last few days of people in the evac A zone who didnt leave the area ( either because they couldnt afford to or because they felt it was safer to be in their home than sat on a highway with 30+ miles of traffic).

I keep logging onto see if they posted but so far i havent see any recent tiktoks . I really hope that they are all ok and survived the night.

I am also keeping an eye out on videos that people made about letting their horse out ( but writing phone numbers on or attaching contact info to manes/tails). Really glad that the doggy that got left chained to fence is safe . The person who left him there is an utter hole. Imagine leaving your pet chained to a fence in a bleeping hurricane ( wanker).

She is going around making all sorts of claims about women needing to make sure their husbands are kept satisfied and if they have an affair then it’s the woman’s fault.. she is also claiming she goes to boys dorm rooms who are at uni and shags them all. Can’t work out if she is trolling everyone or if that’s what she genuinely does / believes ?
