I took it to be so that the traitors would have to listen to those stories and possibly make it harder for them to rob the others. I think it was for their bonding benefit and not ours

I don't think this would work though because they haven't banished a traitor since Zach was murdered so there has to still be one. Andrew should have realised that the only way for him & Harry to both win would have been for them to keep Ross in to sacrifice him in the final. Only one of them can win now, so it all depends on who can persuade the others to agree with them against the other.

The group need to get a traitor out before they end the game, they know there's at least one left. They aren't gonna go for Harry unless Jaz manages to get the word around. So it'll probably be Evie (who is obviously a faithful) then Andrew will be their traitor.

There CAN be multiple traitors left at the end but if there is, they have to decide whether to split or steal the money.

Because the Faithfuls are sure there's a Traitor left so they won't end the game until they've outed at least one of them.

I don't think they're being thick, I think they're just each pretending that they won't backstab the other.
