Is Miles related to Allison Hammond? They are so alike?

Do they sit in the same seats each time at the round table?

The tasks are very dull this time.
Yeah they sat at the same seats all the time, I think they’ve maybe moved them a little bit as lots of people have gone but I think they were until recently always in the same spots.

It was the best this series by far.
Miles fighting back so brilliantly when his back was against the wall was great. I almost thought he'd got away with it.
Harry forever thinking on his feet and being so cunning with that innocent baby face is quite chilling 😂 Is he the best ever Traitor?

I'm pleased Diane has gone. So much guff about her being a brilliant clever player when she was wrong about almost every single one of her hunches. In fact she was a hindrance leading them down blind alleys so emphatically eg Anthony. Her 'it's Miles' to Paul was another random guess. In the after programme she didn't believe it was him 😂
And Ross stop going on about Mum. It's getting wierd now.
I agree, I think taking a young military man and people expecting him to be anything other than calm, collected able to function well under pressure he's also corporal so he can lead a group theirs no ego to it it's just your role.

Paul is a salesman he said his strength is talking himself into a sale and out of trouble, you can read their opposite energy a mile off, its amazing casting and viewing .

Yes, I loved Miles at the round table. He fought a good fight there.

I said on a previous thread he would be glad to go though, and he definitely was. 😁
I loved how in Uncloaked he said he was so popular because he was so loud and bubbly … not according to the edit, mate.
How did they get so absolutely convinced the poisoning was by handing over a drink?

Yeah, they just ran with that, didn’t they, even though Miles put forward a pretty good argument that they didn’t know for sure that was a drink (and presumably they all know that Amanda murdered in plain sight with a kiss last series, so it could have been any sort of subtle gesture, plus Diane made clear her suspicions about somebody having hugged/kissed her the night before).

I wasn’t paying full attention, but didn’t Paul slip up massively and mention a poisoned chalice? Unless he was doing it deliberately to point suspicion in the direction of Miles, but even so it suggests some sort of ‘insider knowledge’ that he knew that a poisoned chalice was the cause of Diane’s death.

I feel like that's the trope of a murder mystery, that the poison is in a drink. So it made sense that was the obvious way they poisoned someone. And they wouldn't do the kiss of death two series running.

The edit made it look like Harry was the one who proposed that it was a drink (presumably to put the heat straight on Miles and Evie) but who knows. There will be so much stuff lost in the edit. Miles may well have shown more of his personality in the downtime but watching other people making small talk isn't riveting viewing for those of us at home.

I literally laid in bed with my fingers crossed please say Paul every time someone turned round their board 🤣

Andrews not going to be able to handle it when Paul is revealed is he?!

Ngl, I think it's gone under the radar about how Andrew went from "big player" who was prime for murder or banishment in the first few eps... to sheep over the last few.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the edits; they must film thousands of hours of footage, then the narrative is constructed out of that, so for all we know on the evening of the ‘poisoned chalice’ there was possibly loads of little break-out incidents set up/filmed, partly to keep everyone otherwise occupied while the traitors met up/arranged the murder, but also so that the actual deed disappeared amongst the multiple other things that also happened that night.

I’d love to get a look at some of the incidental stuff they don’t show.

If anyone watched Uncloaked, I was absolute howling at the bit about Andrew ‘wrapping himself in towels and settling down to eat a bowl of mint imperials’ 🤣

If Andrew was a traitor tonight it wouldn't even surprise me

The faithfuls won't be satisfied till they have three Traitors gone Paul and Harry need a fall guy ...... Welcome on board super bright
(🤣) Andrew

i am hoping that Harry and smug paul recruit ross ( who accepts) but doesnt tell either of Harry or Smug that Diane was his mum.

Ross takes revenge on behalf of Diane and brings Smug down by convincing the others it was two traitors going at it at the last round table - which then brings in Harry ( still none the wiser that diane was Ross's mum) who has already said this to ( cant remember who he said too)..

Zack, I think.

Regarding Miles being bubbly, I think it's fair to say he is, but that the edit didn't show it because he was quiet during the round table and traitor discussions. But if you think about it, they probably have lots of time where they chat off camera about their family, friends and personal lives in general and that's probably when he comes into his own.

I thought he did a great job at dealing with Paul's accusation. Instead of crumbling and looking shifty, he remained calm and put forward a very plausible alternative. But it didn't matter how reasoned he was being because it was clear which way the wind was blowing and the sheep all start following each other when they can sense who's got the heat on them.

I complain about the sheep mentality but it does make sense, given it's a majority vote. So even if you think it's someone else, when it becomes quite clear who around 40-50% of the table are going to vote for, you're more likely to join the pack because of self preservation (better them than me).
