Is the US season worth watching? I try to avoid watching reality/comp shows with Americans in but Alan Cummings has a place in my heart

I've started Traitors NZ recently and they have a mix of celebrities and regular contestants with the celebs all being (close) friends and it's completely changing the game because the traitors get found out almost immediately. There's still herd voting for the victim of the day, of course, but there's no traitor flying under the radar.
I do think I prefer the format with regular people and just two people per season knowing each other for an even playing field and to watch the contestants establish relationships on screen. The format is strong enough not to need celebrities.

I agree. I don’t understand why so many shows go down the celebrity route, it completely ruins the concept and programme. We want to see ordinary people, not fame hungry dramatic celebrities😫

Yes! Unfortunately, as the series goes on it’s clear that plenty of the “ordinary people” quite fancy the idea of becoming celebs off the back of being on telly.

Or when they put in all wannabe influencers! I hate that 😭

yes last year Alex and her magician boyfriend were like this. Annoying really.

I suppose most people that apply to be on TV shows are going to love the attention. It does get boring, I prefer to see quieter people who are harder to read, especially on this show. I was glad when they hoofed Aubrey and Sonja out nice and quick this time, they were attention seeking and performative.

I've only ever heard young children say amn't because their minds say "I am" is positive, so "I amn't" must be the negative. :D But I'm English, so that explains why I've never heard it used outside that.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's episode! It feels like ages since the last one.
