You can tell he’s quite insecure - no one else brought up the sheep thing, but when you’re self-conscious you almost can’t help but point out the perceived ‘flaw’ again yourself and need the reassurance. I can’t imagine how much the anxiety must have gotten to him at the table, I really saw myself in him in that moment and it was hard to watch.
