Interesting theory. possible Tim didn’t want a second after realizing what having a kid actually means. I can get on board with that. And maybe even an agreement that she steps up more (won’t last). But Jenn is also detached from both her kids. I think the answer is much more shallow than an agreement between two people that seem surprised if their spouse they just ate a meal with liked their food. That kind of communication doesn’t seem to be their strong suit. She just likes to appear more motherly while gestating and lactating. The attention is on her and how amazing she is.

But once she weans this kid, the full detachment takes place and Big Baby will be other people’s problem to raise. She doesn’t like her kids and will go through a lifetime ignoring and lovebombing. I think the previous poster that said she wanted that fan on her was correct. Baby in carrier (with fan anttached) attracts attention. She can look like she cares about the baby (she doesn’t or she would have had the baby in the carrier properly), I also think she was trying to hide her postpartum belly. And draw attention away from her belly.

If it’s as hot as people were saying, she can’t layer to hide it. Can’t hide the sweat patches that will form. Can’t sit in a jeep on a safari or sit at a table gorging where half of her is hidden. She’s not filming a home vlog with Tim basically in her lap blocking her size for the camera. She chose to wear that baby to hide things despite the discomfort for them both in the heat because she wanted to shop and assuage her fomo and escape from editing.

you guys have mentioned Tim not appearing to be "attached" to the baby. Now she is suddenly wearing the baby and is out and about? Think back to that one new years video where she said it was her resolution to have another baby and he looked like he wanted to throw up and punch her in the face. What if they had some sort of agreement where if they had another baby Tim would not be the primary caregiver - that she would have to actually care for the baby after delivery? That would explain her wearing the baby and being out and about all over the place so soon.

But Tim was just "wearing" the baby at Publix though in a recent vlog
(and maybe Target too in another; I can't remember if they gave Oliver to the nanny that day ).

And her being out is just classic Jenn FOMO bc remember she complained she never gets to go out in a recent vlog... while also going out all the time.

So the only reason Ginn decided to wear the baby carrier is so she could attach the fan to use it for herself, basically. If she put Big Baby in one of their 7 strollers, she might have to hold the fan herself in front of her face.

Being stopped at a red light does not mean that you should be FILMING YOURSELVES IN THE CAR. Dim's totally that bleeping turd that takes 6 hours to realize the light has turned green. Also, YOU HAVE A CHILD IN THE CAR. A NEWBORN BABY. You need to pay attention to your surroundings even while you're stopped at a light, NOT filming yourselves spewing nonsensical word vomit. No one who has ever dealt with infertility would treat their children like afterthoughts. The baby starts crying and Ginn is slightly annoyed that she has to talk over it about whatever the duck she's blabbing about that she thinks she's so clever about.

I think Jenn wore the baby at the outlet mall because of all the places they've been (Publix, Target, 4Rivers) Character Warehouse is where they are most likely to meet stans. Meeting stans with Tim holding the baby means Tim gets more attention. Jenn isn't going to let that happen. Especially because she's been so miserable staying home.

It's been hot in Orlando, but it's not "Florida hot" if you know what I mean. The temps have been high 80s, we even hit 90 here I believe, but it's not all swampy with no air year. This heat has been pretty tolerable. I mean, I'm not working outside doing lawns or picking fruit, but I'm not breaking a sweat walking around an outdoor mall. I'd be more concerned with the baby being exposed to tourist germs in the crowded store than exposed to the heat walking from the car to the stores. They don't seem to be concerned about anything at all.

Yup. You're right. I was out Tuesday running errands and it was in the low 90s and I wore my sweater all day w/ my outfit - in and out of stores, hot parking lots, hot cars from sitting in the sun, etc. It was hot but it was tolerable, and not like August / Sept. "hot."

I think you're also right about the attention thing. That, and like @scoker said - wearing the baby hides her baby weight right now. She saw the way she looked in the recent Target vlog where Tim was filming her pushing the cart.

Just my 3 cents (adjusted for inflation). I am a young Boomer (Generation Jones) and I do not have a maternal bone in my body. My husband (of 37 years) and I are childless by choice, neither one of us wanted kids and we were “selfish” and love to travel etc. I could never see myself raising a child, and perhaps Jen was the same way, difference is that we were smart enough to not have kids. We do however, have 3 spoiled cats and a 32 year old parrot who rules the roost. They are our children and I will hurt anyone who would try to harm them. I hope Jen gets the emotional help she needs. Poor kids didn’t ask to be born into that situation. I see Jen as being a lot like Kate Gosselin in many ways.

Wearing that black concert tshirt on a day where she’s hot enough (temperature-wise) to need a fan blowing at her face directly and when she went on and on about all the nursing tops she bought that would make feeding easier and the fact that she practically lives in her gray tank top and her health “kick” “involuntary twitch” (sorry Ginn but a turkey Rueben with melted cheese and a brookie and a giant fountain soda instead of water is not even close to healthy) adds to the reasoning for her wearing the baby carrier that wasn’t fitted properly to keep Big Baby’s brains from feeling scrambled after all her waddling just to hide her belly. And no carrier for the Big Baby when eating at the sandwich shop?

It feels like they’re going out of their way to expose the baby to as many germs as possible. I’ve seen people exercise more caution with their month old babies who didn’t spend any time in the NICU and pre-pandemic. Just cause he looks months old already doesn’t mean he needs to be dragged all over creation.

Also the baby seat was visibly shaking in the car at one point - is that a vibrating thing they’ve probably attached to it?

Also a health “kick” implies that even Ginn herself knows it’s bullshit and she won’t stick to it long-term.

My heart breaks for J$ right now. These 2 asshats didn’t go to his easter egg hunt and thought it best to expose $liver to a crapload of germs. WTF. It boggles my mind that these 2 humans consider what they are doing as parenting. All I can think about is when J$ is at the hunt and he finds an egg or doesn’t find an egg he looks over for reassurance and he is looking at the “fill-in” not his mom or dad. WOW. So sad. They do realize that J$ is going to grow up one day and wonder why mom and dad were so absent from his life?
