The Sims #2 We still love it

I haven’t read through the previous threads (sorry!) but has anyone got the horse ranch pack? I am so tempted to buy it but would be interested to hear from others about how it runs, if there are bugs etc? Thanks :)
 
I prefer building to actually playing but I’m so annoyed that you can build diagonal rooms but not stairs. bleeping annoying because I wanted to build a big bland Hinch farm and that has a second diagonal staircase.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy it much but I found it really fun, however I'd say after a while (maxing nectar and horse aspirations) I had kind of had enough of the pack. The only bug I had was ranch hands not showing up after a few days.

There are bugs with the mini goats and sheep but I’m really enjoying it so far tbh. The horses are adorable and the build buy is lovely, I’m really enjoying playing it alongside cottage living

Yeah same, I thought it would get rid of him for good but he continued peeping but as a ghost 😂
 
Is anyone else having major problems with EA? Can’t figure out what’s wrong. Says no internet connection when I launch the app but my internet is clearly working, just want to play the sims ☹️
 
I've barely touched HR so far but the little I have, I enjoyed. I have a mini sheep right now which is just adorable but I keep forgetting about it and it'd up starving and smelly 😅.

I don't have WW but I had a sim come by my house constantly. He'd climb the trellis to get into my kids room and everything. Everytime, I forced him to leave and 5 minutes later he'd be back. I eventually killed him, only to have his ghost turn up at my house every day 😭😭.


In my game, Bella (not Goth anymore because she remarried 5 times 😂) is days away from death so I got her to move into my household and I have her locked up in the bedroom above the "garage" and this is how she spends her days....

It’s *okay* but it’s very buggy and a bit boring after you’ve played with it for a bit. I prefer family gameplay though and find pets a bit too high maintenance when I have a large family so it’s not my kind of pack but it is a good addition to cottage living so you can have a whole farm and if you’re into that kind of chaotic having-to-stay-on-top-of-everything gameplay then you might enjoy it more. Oh, the BB items are really lovely though.
 
Yeah I've played maybe 10 hours of it and that was plenty. I'm not big into the theme though so I guess that was to be expected. The only thing I really like is riding around. The agility courses with cats and dogs are more fun imo.

They added it when they added growing together, if you go to body in CAS and body hair, you can untick “enable growing” on each section where you don’t want hair to grow x

Thanks, am trying get my achievements on Xbox though an only way to get that is through the cheat, I've had a look at my gameplay for packs and there's nothing there for it which is strange because I can access everything else
 
Just treated myself to the Halloween bundle on sale. I'm not super into occult gameplay so they were low priority, but I was going to get them eventually, especially Werewolves has some fun stuff. Since GPs and SPs are never more than 30% off anymore and the bundle is 40% I thought I might as well.

Personally love Horse Ranch but I was devastated when my horse died randomly while we were out for a ride. Like I legitimately nearly broke down in tears 🤣 RIP Kentucky x

If you have more than one animal it's essentially a full time job keeping up with the ranch. I have a ranch hand but they are always slackers! so the money cheat comes in handy as I don't have time to hold down a proper job!
 
I still have the horse pack to try out, thinking of taking my sims out for a horse ride to see how it is, my sims are still poor so can't own one yet 😂 I've been grinding my guy at uni with his distinguished degree an trying grind my girls skills up to go into acting, so they been living on grilled cheese an doing not much else

I did fully customise every world though, took a few hours as I've 21 world's but now I've got world's filled up with residents, cinemas, bowling, arcades, water parks, restaurants, cafes, shops, nightclubs, lounges, bakery's, vets, hospitals, skating rinks, parks, wedding venues etc

that sounds really fun, I wish I had the time and patience to do that with my worlds.

Tbf I pulled a ton from the online gallery lol, so not everything was done by me, I was mostly replacing the large empty houses with things because it limits the funds with placing new households so I had to keep the households to the smaller lots, I just didn't want world's that had empty lots or houses with no one in them, an some people have done really cool builds as well like McDonald's, Starbucks, Vue cinema etc which all work really well, had my sims at McDonald's getting burgers 😂 it also means I don't need to buy stuff to get their skills up, can just take them to a gym for fitness or a nightclub for karaoke lol
