The Share My Cat Thread #6

Cat pawrents, I'm going away in a few days for 2 nights, for the first time since I rescued my wee boy. I'm so stressed and anxious at leaving him. I keep thinking "what if he refuses to eat, refuses to pee" I'm so worried he'll get really sick uf he doesn't. Last time he was stressed he stopped eating and peeing and ended up in the small animals hospital for a weekend.

I have my friend coming over on the first day and she's staying so he'll have company, She'll give him dinner and breakfast then go to work, and my other friend is coming over about noon on the second day and will watch tv for a few hours then give him his dinner before going home. She'll pop back in about 7am the next morning to give him his breakfast and then I'm home in the afternoon.

I've upped his cystophan to daily for this week, and I've got lots of his favourite treats in to tempt him. And I've got lamps on liners so he's not in the dark from 4pm, Is there anything else I should be doing?

I think he'll be fine if he's company and his food. Fingers crossed!

Awww, looks gorgeous in his little pyjamas 🥰 hope he heals soon. Took little boy put today on aa lead (first time since his month missing, he's finally clearly desperate to go out) I'm waiting for a tracking collar as too nervous to let him out alone... lead was aa mixed success 🤣

She is doing ok, we have a checkup tomorrow at the vets. Allowed her big bro back in with her tonight. We kept them separate as while the adore each other they play rough! But fat boy Ginge has been gentle.

Tractive is a great GPS and we will use that with her for a while until we know her areas and patterns.

Every morning I window vac the windows… today I didn’t need to, a little bit of water has appeared along the bottom and Nala is licking it all up! 🙈🙈🙈
She has stopped Eatin her wet food so I’ve put water down and doesn’t touch it, clearly condensation water is better 🤪
