This story has really touched me over the past few weeks and is IMO an example of where the royals shine. It was the spotlight they put on Liz that opened up all the opportunities that flooded in for her, this is what they should focus on because they do have sway and they can make such a huge difference to people.

Yeah that list is bogus. Catherine did more then one. If they have that wrong what else is wrong with the list.

Also I find that list every year stupid. For example somebody does 4 engagements a day for 15 minutes each and somebody else does 1 engagement for 2 hours. So for the one who spend more time they count less engagements. They should bin that whole system.

Edit: After reading text I think that this is a old list from when Ann was injured by that horse. But my point still stands.

The list might be bogus but the point is elderly woman doing lost of the grunt work which is beyond selfish for the younger royals in the family in my opinion.

Also if you've to pad out your engagements like you're suggesting above, it says more about their lack of work ethic more then anything.

Agree about the point on William - him and Kate have always been lazy when it comes to stuff like this.

The pop witch article is clearly about Andrew with the no sweat line. The obession people have on hating Harry is insane...
 
QC apparently had viral pneumonia and now has post-viral fatigue, hence not going to Horse Guards to welcome the Qataris but meeting them at BP. She will be present for part of the State Dinner. The reports say that Sheikha Jawaher presented QC with a pearl necklace so I expect we'll see that tonight.
 
Pneumonia is brutal and also she was a smoker for such a long time so her lungs won't be in great shape to begin with. My dad is a bit younger than Camilla; he finally quit smoking and still gets hit like a truck by any lung infection. (I have a lung disease myself, pneumonia, et al are just the WORST.) I hope she feels better soon! Some days - you're fine - others so tired and coughing up a storm.
