I've definitely made my way through them over the last few months, making the most of the hayu subscription

My thought is Carole got sick of Bethenny being so needy. It's been a while since I saw that season but I remember Carole saying something about it not always being about Bethenny. I think Carole got a little bitchier and Bethenny couldn't take it. I used to like Carole but didn't really like the change in her

Same! I really liked her when she first joined the cast but I found her so cold and unempathetic that season and i just don't understand the reason for it!

I always found it strange how she went from being a real serious journalist to basically doing nothing, most people who are journalists are really passionate about it and wouldn't just be happy to totally give up

They never showed anything that happened in her life so I don't understand the change either? Maybe the younger boyfriend leaving her and finding a new girlfriend got to her? Bethenny is A LOT to handle but Carole knew her family history and that Bethenny has major trust issues and all that she had to deal with, with her crazy ex and divorce. Carole was pretty mean to Bethenny at the end

That last season her style changed drastically! She did seem to be dressing "cool girl". Didn't she brag that something she wore had come from Beyonce? I don't make age related comments either, but your thoughts do make sense.

I thought the opposite personalities made them good friends. Bethenny needed calm and Carole needed a little hyper in her life. Something made Carole come across to me as bitter in the end. I even unfollowed her on IG, it didn't seem like just a change on the show, to me her personality changed in real life too

@frillylilly is watching now and would have the correct answer. As I recall she said it was mutual, but they were still hanging out. I'm pretty sure he ended up in a relationship and she was hurt by that

It's very unclear tbh. It seems like Carole is very keen to seem like she's fine with it. I get the impression it was mutual, but they were still seeing each other and then Carole wanted to cut off contact when he told her he'd been on a date with someone else?

Thank you! Their relationship was definitely unconventional! What I thought was after her husband passed away, she still wasn't ready to risk really falling in love and potentially being hurt. Being with someone so much younger, she knew it could never be really serious. But I thought she did feel hurt that he could date someone else and that's why she wanted to cut off contact. I don't think they ever did. Creeped her IG last year and I'm pretty sure he was on it

I’ve cancelled my subscription with NOWTV and signed up for Hayu as the probably seems to lie with NOWTV. I googled it and they are aware of the problem and are “working on it”
