Of course Davina knows who Richie Sambora is. Anyone over 40 will know. I have been thinking Taron Egerton for phoenix, I just can't see how some of the clues point to Ricky, but some do. My son thinks it's David Tennant.
I'm over 40 with fairly decent music knowledge. I'd heard of Richie and knew he was a guitarist in a band but (before TMS) I couldn't have told you which band and had no clue about what he looked/sounded like. I knew of him more for his marriage to Heather, due to her being a very well-known celeb, back in the day.
Despite Bon Jovi being massive, I totally get why so many people haven't heard of Richie.
There are very few bands that I could name all the members of and I reckon most people would say the same.

I'm over 40 (a couple of years younger than Davina i think) and wouldn't know him if he walked into my front room. The name is vaguely familiar but couldn't have told you what he did. Had to google him when he was mentioned on here and was surprised people thought he was a big star. Never liked Bon Jovi (not a fan of America rock) and only associate them with Jon Bon Jovi.
New to the Masked Singer and can’t believe I never watched it before! I’m loving it 
I did guess Ritchie Sambora for some reason.
Could Rhino not be Matt Willis? I don’t really know his voice.
I think Phoenix might be Michael Sheen. And I think Mo might be right about Faun being Shania Twain.

I can hear a bit of Michael Sheen too! Which tips me more towards David Tennant tbh as they are best pals and I can imagine him trying to sound like Michael. Also the fact DT and Ricky know each other also pushes me more towards DT as I think he could more easily mimic Ricky’s voice than Ricky could mimic his mannerisms etc.
