I think it’s the comedian Chris McCausland. Definite scouse accent hiding in there. Also as he’s blind it could be a reason for the simple costume so he can manoeuvre easily.

Am watching with my parents and mum said multiple times she can hear scouse in the accent. Whoever it is isn’t Scottish anyway.
