Like everything voices can deteriorate with age and I suspect this is the case. I agree with the first person who guessed it was him.

Yeah almost died. JR is sneaky he throws some absolute duff guesses in but clearly knows more than he lets on. I suspect the JT guess is good....just something in his voice patterns similar to some of the fast show impressions.Especially in his Elvis impression. The crossing of the arms is a bit of a familiar visual cue too.

It's probably not him but his sing-off song mentioned the words "door" and "wall" which just made me wonder about the possible GOT connection. I can't remember all the clues - I'll have to dig about a bit more. So many die-hard Morten fans seem to think it's him so it probably is.

I think Matt Lucas is a bit more portly to be diplomatic. It also would have been fairly tight with the GBBO schedule. I seriously doubt it’s him, but if you’re right well done. Incidentally John Thompson appeared on Shooting Stars a couple of times.

Ne-Yo was in London in September with his wife, he’s deleted the pics now after the press picked up on him being here after the first show aired but his wife still has a couple posts up, just had a look and she’s tagged her hair and make up in them done by two London based ladies. The show was also filmed In September!
