IMHO Dibb is great for first timers, or habitual show offs. I dip in once a week and do look at the thread posted on here. I fond it strange a forum full of goody two-shoes like Dibb allowing support for blatant scammers and hoodie thieves. But as said above, private forums allow this and tend to be policed by the kind of people we would never want to meet in real life

As already mentioned, a few old-timers are permitted to post pretty much what they like including frequent bullying of some, whilst others are heavily censored by site admins Stu Jong-un and Smax Putin.

It works for them though. In many ways the business model is similar to The Lodge Guys - people are encouraged to pay to be a member to "support the site", whilst the owners and their spouses take home around £200k a year between them according to Companies House.

Yet their website does not include any details of such work, no portfolio of sites worked on and not a single testimonial.

Searching for the business name does not return a single site with a "Site by..." or "Designed by...." type footer.

You would think you would promote your work, and enable it to be found to encourage more business to come your way, wouldn't you?

I know the LGs are monitoring the comments everywhere like hawks but as a former Dibber who was banned for daring to call out one of the “golden posters” Im sticking with it being other Dibbers reporting the posts. The amount of censorship on there extends way beyond a LGs thread.

Yeah the hair transplant has not been as successful as they are making out. You can still see the visible line of where the new hair is supposed to be, it is just not growing in the way its supposed too and is very thin and sparse!

How long before they realise they can no longer get away with saying 'it is still growing in, it looks good' because it does not! Own it, it didn't work, no one is to blame, just take the financial hit and move on . . . oh wait sorry, forgot it was TLG we were talking about. Off course they will complain, demand compensation and then try to get more money by filming it and putting on youtube!

Totally agree. My cousin had his hair done and it took ages to grow but he was advised to not wear anything tight on his head. I’m shocked if the hair clinic said it was ok. Even the wool hat at DLP which was super tight didn’t help. He lived in a tight cap for months. 100% stopped it working

There's no freedom of speech on a privately owned website. They can delete what they want. C'est la vie. I was banned from The Dibb when one of the longtime posters lost his mind during covid and was posting (100 times a day although supposedly has a big job) really toxic stuff. Riling people up, getting political, scaremongering and generally being awful and unhinged. I called him out politely on his BS and asked him to consider a day away from the forum for his own sake. I was banned and an hour later he was posting outlandish claims to rile up old wounds (Brexit, Scottish nationalism, Northern Ireland etc..) to scare people into coming around to his thinking. But it is what it is, some people over there make the LGs seem well adjusted.

The Dibb is a forum full of show offs, braggers and pi$$ takers.

Who knew there are even ‘clicks’ on a Disney forum!! I think I’ve been very naive !!

It's full of cliques, if you are not one of the 'chosen' you pretty much get ignored' you see the same names posting over and over.
