I feel so sad when she mentions her nana If I had a family member with mobility issues and I knew the only time she was going to get out of the house was when I took her somewhere, I would involve her as much as possible! They don’t work ffs, even if Sarah just brought her round the house a couple of days a week to see the girls, have a chat and some lunch, even just watch telly together. Sarah was so worried about her nan's appointment that she initially forgot she even had it, then when she remembered, she ran late for it because she was enjoying her cup of tea so much

That clip, plus Granny ‘I’m a lawyer’ Jane on Twitter telling the girl he messaged that she was ‘flirting’ and going along with it really gives a true peak into what the whole family’s attitudes are.

Totally agree with you, My Mum is 84 and housebound
I travel 15 miles twice sometimes three times a week to keep her company I have caring responsibilities at home
My Daughter takes on this role when i am not home.
No way could i not visit My lovely Mum Family should be precious whatever their age
But thats the Minghams for you
