She thinks she's being clever but in actual fact she's just highlighting her piss-poor parenting skills as, once again, she defiantly sticks two fingers up at societal norms and the research-led experts who set age classifications/guidelines for the health and wellbeing of young, developing minds.Any excuse for comments and views...she will take it.
In Sarah's simple and stubborn mind she no doubt thinks that she's got one up on everyone else, being the supposedly cool and liberal mum. As others articulated so well the other day though, there's a world of difference between being honest and open with your children when it comes to sex and relationships (within normal, healthy boundaries) and just normalising sex/erotica and allowing them to watch or read about whatever they like.
It's actually very ironic considering that she always talks about preserving childhood innocence and allowing kids to be kids for as long as possible, playing with dolls etc.
