SIBLINGS MEET THEIR NEW BABY SISTER FOR THE FIRST TIME! (EMOTIONAL)

Lazy welcomes us to day two of Dinky Dot VI’s entrance to the world adventure. Last night night was the hardest night of her whole life. What even harder than the night her mum died? It was beyond difficult. It’s still quite early and the curtains aren’t opened. The kids are coming to visit today.
Creepstopher says hello to “gorgeous girl” Dinky Dot VI. She kept Lazy awake all night. She tells Creepstopher to stop calling Dinky Dot VI “Micro Ted”. Jace is “Ted” and Mila is “Little Ted”. He’s trying not to say Dinky Dot VI’s name. She’s so tiny in real life. Her head looks massive. Lazy should count herself very lucky that she didn’t have to push it out of her baby canon. She has so much hair.
Dinky Dot VI didn’t go to sleep until 6am. The two women on the ward must hate Lazy. One has a baby on the neonatal ward and the other has a “really teeny tiny micro little 5lbs baby” who sleeps the whole time. Dinky Dot VI has her nights and days mixed up. Or maybe she just takes after her mother. Lazy got 40 minutes of sleep. Dinky Dot VI was feeding but crying halfway through. Nurses came in every hour until 4am for Lazy, someone gave her a blood thinning injection at 4:30am and someone took her catheter out at 5am. They turned all the lights on at 7:30am and it was savage. Dinky Dot VI fell asleep on Creepstopher two hours ago.
Dinner has arrived. Dinky Dot VI is still asleep. Lazy gets tomato soup, apple crumble and custard, a little salad, orange juice, a bread roll, cheese and a bad boy jacket potato with chilli. Creepstopher is off to get the kids. Dinky Dot VI needs to savour her final moments of peace. He calls her “little nugget head” and says she’s so gorgeous.
At the manor, screeching ensues. They decided not to tell Jace and Mila the baby had arrived. They thought they were going to see Lazy at an appointment. It worked perfectly and they never questioned where Lazy was the night before. Mila tells Creepstopher she missed him. Jace has his hair pushed back with an Alice band. He's is upset at the thought of putting socks on.
Hospital. Isla feels like she’s on Rita at Alton Towers. Final guesses on hair colour. Isabelle ginger, Isla blonde, Esmé blonde, Jace screeches “bond” before saying green, bwue or bwonde. Creepstopher thinks that’s wicked. Mila thinks yellow. The girls go to the café to get a drink whilst Creepstopher takes Jace and Mila to meet Dinky Dot VI. Jace has brought a squishmallow with him.
Lazy is sat on the bed holding Dinky Dot VI like Simba. She has a fan, McDonald’s cup and water bottle on the table. Her nurses are Claire and Priscilla - ironically the names of two Duggar in laws. Jace does say something that sounds like “Olivia” but he’s very squeaky. He reaches his hands out to take Dinky Dot VI from Lazy and giggles. She doesn’t give her to him yet. Creepstopher lifts Mila onto the bed and she strokes Dinky Dot VI’s head. Creepstopher helps “baby boy” onto the bed. Dinky Dot VI starts crying. Lazy attempts to squeeze out some tears and says she can’t cope. I don’t think I could cope with the Ingham kids either. Dinky Dot VI gets more upset as the kids start to overwhelm her. No one cares. Lazy says Mila looks 6. Jace asks Lazy how hard it was to get the baby out and she says it was ok. He wants to hold the baby.
Creepstopher explains that they thought it would be best to let Jace and Mila see Dinky Dot VI alone first to get their excitement out of the way. He breathlessly waddles to get the girls. He’s so excited. The girls run over. As they walk onto the ward he reassures the girls they won’t accidentally see Lazy.
Funeral music. The girls try to squeeze out some tears. Jace tells Mama that Dinky Dot VI has “bwack” hair. Lots of squeals of “so cute”. The bag of BG sweets sits on the chair. Creepstopher pulls the beanie off for the hair reveal. Jace is handed Dinky Dot VI. He says she’s called Baby Wayby. Creepstopher tells him to be careful and hold her head. Esmé is making Lazy laugh.
Esmé holds Dinky Dot VI next. Photos. Creepstopher asks Babe Isla how it feels to hold Dinky Dot VI. Lazy tells him her chin and lips are just his. Mila says she loves baby sister. Jace says Dinky Dot VI only cries a little bit loud. Lazy tells him to kiss her. Lazy says Dinky Dot VI’s eyes are swollen.
Creepstopher shows us a photo of baby Mila and tells us not to tell him she and Dinky Dot VI aren’t twins. Even the nose shape is similar. The girls didn’t see Mila in hospital. Lazy says the girls didn’t see each other when they were babies so can only compare Dinky Dot VI to Mila and Jace. Excuse me what? They have seen baby photos of each other.
Jace can’t believe Dinky Dot VI is here. Lazy has vacated the bed and he and Mila are sat in her spot. He’s rubbing her head quite hard so Creepstopher tells him off. Next Mila holds the baby. Lazy asks her where her various body parts are. Mila says Dinky Dot VI has socks on and goes to touch her feet but King Jace moves her arm out of the way and kisses the foot.
Everyone has left to go out for dinner. Lazy has realised how much she laughs around her family. She was constantly doubled over because of the c-section scar pain. Everyone warned her to have a pillow when she's about to laugh or cry. She’s in a lot of pain right now. She can’t believe how mixed up Dinky Dot VI’s days are. Congratulations @Big frank TLDR - Baby Dinky Dot VI made her grand entrance on 11th October 2023 at 15:24pm weighing 7lbs 6oz according to her parents, who are both notorious liars. - The kids have been introduced to Dinky Dot VI. There was much noise and her name may be Olivia. Chris blurred...

Oh I hope this baby is a fussy one who cries constantly (although not because of being in pain or uncomfortable obviously). I’ve known babies like that before who were just never easily consoled. They’ve lucked out with easy babies in the past I think (despite what lazy might claim). I hope this one screams constantly while in the car too and ruins any future van trips for them!
I’m glad lazy is having a tit time in the hospital! Karma for the tit show she and her waste of space husband have turned their kids lives into!
I was in for a week after my emergency c section and large haemorrhage and it was tough that they wake you up at all hours for checks. Baby and I were both on iv antibiotics and they don’t do them at convenient times for you. I love that lazy who normally drags herself out of bed close to lunch time is being woken up at 7:30 for breakfast! Again what a lovely dose of karma for her!
When we were on the ward for the first 3 nights there was one night where the woman opposite me had a baby who cried all night long, literally (and all day too until they sent her home after 24 hours, I was very jealous of that but not the screaming baby).
One of the biggest blessings I had that week was that my baby was a good sleeper and very chilled! I had to set alarms on my phone every 3 hours in the night to wake her to be fed! Doing that first week of nights on my own was hard (covid times too so visiting hours for my partner weren’t great even in the day) but my little girl made it easier on me for sure!
Can’t think of a more deserving person than lazy to have been up all night dealing with a screaming baby alone. Actually I can… spoiler alert she’s married to him!
