ETA Esme said she didn’t like structured learning in a recent video I was thinking of the whole Taylor thing and the parents setting them up to fail and isn’t this the same tactic ? I mean if Esme does rubbish teaching herself they can say oh well you are the one that said you preferred teaching yourself and worked better that way
If these examples are any indication of the way the parents operate it looks like they’re removing any responsibility from themselves in typical Narcissistic fashion.

They've had better pool parties in their back garden back when they had mates to invite to hang out around a paddling pool.
I just wonder at what point they're going to discover that she has huge gaps in her knowledge (from having skipped large chunks of the past three years of 'school'/the impossibility of studying in a van without even a table to study at) and can't teach herself to understand things that she fundamentally doesn't understand. Are there going to be regular tests to determine if she's actually learning anything teaching herself or will it be a surprise on GCSE results day? It doesn't seem to have occurred to them that 'I prefer teaching myself and studying on my own' is also 'I prefer nobody challenging my understanding/pointing out that I've got things wrong/making me study things that I find difficult.'I mean if Esme does rubbish teaching herself they can say oh well you are the one that said you preferred teaching yourself and worked better that way
