I think she’s got a bit of a shock coming, because logs aren’t exactly cheap and you certainly get through them! We’ve got a log burner and can easily get through 5 or 6 logs of an evening (perhaps I’m doing something wrong?), but it certainly isn’t a cheap way of heating and doesn’t heat the whole house!
