The last two Patreon podcasts have made me side eye Holly majorly, that and the awful and truly embarrassing way she swept the orgy photos in the scrap book comments Anastasia made under the rug in the last ep have just made me think omg you’re delusional. The celebrity memoir book club podcast girls said this on the ISJ episode but Holly has a habit of making out like everyone else was dumb and she wasn’t
but ISJ is seriously academically accomplished so idk how she’ll come out in this meeting of the minds lol.queencarmen

I did a quick Google search but I couldn't see them.
All three were beautiful women (Holly has since had some great work to her face imo, shr lools so much better now, actually younger than in these playboy photos)
everyone's spot on that kendra would have been the only one to have been hired to be a model for them without having to have been HH'S live in gf. She could probably have gotten playbunny of the year etc. Holly looked like she didn't want to be there, kinda awkward. Kendra has her poses and expressions down.
I haven't been keeping up with the podcast but doesn't sound like I'm missing much.

Across a few episodes they’ve spoken about playmate of the year and how they discount any one doing stripping or sex work (they used to check their passports for stamps to Dubai
) and wanted people who were good hosts for the branded events, reliable, like agreeable I suppose and not out looking to shag celebs. Especially for the last reason I don’t think Kendra would have been up to the job

Is anyone else here a Patreon member? I am largely as I love the extra podcasts, I’m home alone a lot so like familiar voices presenting inane bubble gum content so it’s right up my street. I’m literally drifting off last night and some nutter has written into the advice episode about ghosts chucking people about (I don’t feel bad sharing that as it’s not original content or anything they could otherwise monetise?) - like ffs are you trying to induce a pre sleep PA!
like I know I’m somewhat mentally ill to be so absorbed in this content but omg some of the utter shite people send in is just beyond comprehension. I would love to have so little to stress about in my actual life that I’m writing into a podcast about a friend’s friend’s ghost dream.
Anyway on a positive I think Bridget’s presentation on the podcast and Patreon is so good and there’s been a clear progression for her, so hopefully some non paranormal or playboy work comes out of this for her! I felt bad for her the other episode when she was fewmin over the critical press from back in the day that Holly was sharing
that episode was weird cos Bridget was just livid but Holly was trying to spin it like oh that wasn’t true of US eg Kendra was all those bad things. Girl….

oh god that episode was so awkward, in true holly fashion she didnt pick up on any social cues at all and basically just tore into bridget for 5 minutes and then didnt even say anything comforting

I’m still listening! And still on Patreon, I actually nearly cancelled that because of all the ridic ghost stuff but they’ve done a video of them going through their archives which feels more of a value add so I’m staying with for now.
Re the podcast - I appreciate Holly is ND so don’t want to tit on her but if you took out her saying: gross, ew, totally, or any other filler there’d be very little left. Bridget has really come into her own in this series which unfortunately reflects poorly on Holly’s ability as a podcaster.
I’m listening to Holly’s episode of the “something was wrong” podcast atm and I really like the format of that podcast so am interested to listen to more but Holly does such a better job on that versus the GNL format!

I actually used to really like Holly when the show was aired but I’ve been put off her by the way she’s behaved on this podcast.

Totally agree re Bridget! What I find the most difficult to reconcile about Holly is that yes I 100% believe she experienced trauma in the mansion and that the whole set up was incredibly exploitative/coercive… but, she continues to affiliate with the playboy brand through choice? And yes originally when she left the mansion she had to make hay whilst the sun shinned and that gave her the stepping stone to Vegas showgirl and away from needing to affiliate with that all? She made a lot of money and could continue to make reasonable money not doing anything to do with PB at all? Like how much could the murders of playboy on discovery really be paying her to make it worth it? The podcast’s patreon must be absolutely printing cash tbf, each upload has >500 likes and that’s just those that login and like!

I used to LOVE this. I remember catching bits of it here and there as a teen but didn't watch it on YouTube until I was probably in my early 20's and binge watched all I could find.
I actually quite liked Holly and did feel sorry for her because she had to deal with the most intense parts of being a girlfriend and living in the mansion. I think she wanted the lifestyle of being photographed and having nice cars and money and didn't want to have to share it with any of the other girls, but she also didn't really want it with Hef. I can see how she would be so conflicted when it came to wanting him and not wanting him, there has to have been so much grooming and manipulation. Even if she hated him and for what he made her do at times, she would probably also feel like he had saved her and provided her with this life and "opportunity"
Bridget, I always felt like I couldn't really understand why she was doing playboy. She seemed a bit ditzy at times which I suspect was put on, but also very smart from what I can remember. I guess in my eyes she didn't seem like the stereotypical playboy girl, but she did seem to be able to detach herself from things at some points.
I just could never take to Kendra, I felt like she came in like a wrecking ball and didn't tale anything seriously while Holly snd Bridget did a bit more. Looking back I can see it's because she was so young and really did want to just life her life, but she definitely knew she could push the boundaries a bit more. I did find her very annoying and her look was just something I didn't get. But I do agree when done up she did give that 'playboy look which at the time was the big blonde hair and a bit trashy looking.
