So many of her posts recently have been about negative thoughts and lack of confidence.
She never used to be like this did she?
I think she had doubts like everyone else and pushed herself with weight training but nothing like this.
A close up of him obvs and peeps want him as coach?
Nice instahun couple publicity shot to drum business

He seems like the most exhausting person to be around, and totally toxic too. Like I'm all for keeping fit and active, and I'd be the first to admit that I love fitting in a run or two when I'm on holidays. It's a lovely way to explore a new place if nothing else. But their version of " holidays" seems like my idea of hell! Early morning long runs/ badminton/ beach runs/ gym sessions. Where's the holiday? I know they've technically gone to an ' active' resort, but tjeu were just as bad in sicily for this.

Do you reckon she can remember any actual doctoring stuff now? 🙄 I’d have a little bit of respect for her if she even did a few days a month in some form of locum role for the utterly over stretched NHS. Doesn’t she need to do some form of annual clinical work to maintain her professional registration? I do with the HCPC.

I’ve noticed this.
She used to talk about exercise as if she enjoyed it, now she talks about it like a chore and a battle with negative thoughts - I imagine the negativity comes from DB, but because she wants a relationship so much and thinks he looks good, then she feels obliged to try and join in.
Even the racket sport she talks about like it’s an obligation - surely a session with your partner would be fun???
All very strange

For those of you working in medicine on this thread how do you feel about Hazel calling herself a doctor but no longer practising?
I don’t have a medical background but dont think it is right. Obviously moo. Do doctors like Hazel who dont practise need to continue their learning or can just call themselves doc?
So I'm a qualified and practising doctor. I'm a GP. I'm 2 yrs older than Hazel and have been qualified for 10 yrs now.
Tbh it irks me. She is entitled to use doctor as she gained the title and people do for example retired doctors, but I feel her page is misleading as she uses the word medic. She only did 2 yrs formal training after medical school and then did her locum shifts on the wards.
A lot of my friends don't actually know who she is though, I feel like maybe younger doctors would but I'm not sure!
But I don't like that when she was doing a non training junior doc job, she was acting like she was the main decision maker etc and glamourising medicine. Of course all doctors work in a team and everyone is important but she didn't talk about her team...and in hospital medicine that just doesn't work. I do wonder what her colleagues thought of her, acting like a consultant when she has none of that experience etc.
I know a lot of people hate GPs now but to be honest it's the NHS which is a broken system, not us. Due to burn out and pressures, many GPs are leaving, it's a hard job even though people think it's easy and it's isolating. I work 12 hr days and have x3 meals at work in front of my computer and during the pandemic she didn't make me good about myself at all. I blocked her for years. Only in the last few months did I unblock her for my mental health.
(Apologies for the last paragraph if I went off on one).

Yes you do but as @mammer8 said, she is registered with no license. So it seems to me lkle she must be paying the annual GMC retention fee but doesn't do any work.

Yuk why would her followers wanna see this? Can ya all see the video

👋

Hazelnut tryna convince us you are still the same ole hazelnut with coffee in the morning

They're both so dreadful. Imagine being on holiday and making everything a "content" opportunity. Imagine being another guest in the vicinity watching them set up to film their bullshit 😭

DB is a toxic piece of work

So interesting to hear about your insight! I do feel like Hazel is misleading people by using the word medic as her entire business. I have 3 degrees, including a professional doctorate and I would never use my ‘Dr’ for marketing purposes if I was not clinically practicing anymore. It’s so disingenuous and not to mention harmful.

It always seems to me that she has a lot of academic qualifications but very little practical experience. Has she ever worked as a nutritionist?
Oh my gosh, good point!! Does anyone know if she's ever worked as a nutritionist? Is she registered? Apparently blogger em the nutritionist isn't registered but only tattlers know that!

It seems like she just uses it for marketing which as @soggybrilliant pointed out Is misleading and harmful!

She really is awful and this whole exercise business is getting too much. Her whole personality is getting engaged and exercising. How can anyone with a job relate to her?!?! Who is following her! I'd be interested to know her followers stats!

Thank you so much for your insight and everything you do. ❤️ I hope you are doing well now as the pandemic must have been so stressful for you / gps

She regularly has a drink next to her on TikTok / stories so not sure about the hardly drinking part?

Thanks for these insights and also for working as you do. I have a wonderful GP who has kept me sane through some horrible peri related times and a nightmare of a bad Mirena coil reaction last year. I really hope you start to get the support that you need and deserve (along with other staff who try so hard with no resources to deliver what they want to deliver).

In relation to our Nut, didn’t she have a very short lived job after her Masters in a nutrition role at a hospital? I recall her trying to convince us all how hard she was working for all of about two months. She and DB MushroomKnob make a perfect pair. Constant exercising, constant training, obsessed with it all, tracking it all left right and centre and tryinot to convince us it’s balanced and healthy and they love feeding their face with ice cream. Sickening pair of sell outs.

For some reason my memory of Hazel stuff is good, I think because I used to really enjoy her content and have followed for ages. She didn’t work in nutrition ever. She did a masters in nutrition after the food medic got big, not long before COVID. So no she’s never been a working nutritionist. She also has made out a few times that she was right in the tit working in COVID wards but those of us who followed her at the time remember that she was put on the phones. I got the impression at the time it was due to her concerns about her asthma as she shared that she had had a big meltdown at one point when it was all kicking off.

This hasgot to be a fake message. How can food medic membership help with issues like this. You need medical help / therapy. A trustworthy platform what a load of bollox

She also posted this video today and there was a very valid comment made. It was a wholly inappropriate video from a so called doctor.
