I too am curious that there is more to panda leaving than him finding a work from home opportunity he couldn’t pass up. Although it seemed at the time it was amicable, I would just find that entirely too hard to believe.

Panda also said he wasn't sure if he would continue his channel and he has been so something happened.

Craig’s wife was laid off during Covid

She still works for Universal so I'm not sure that's true

Reading The Mando's posts and Dustin's posts had me thinking of something from my own past.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, while I was a young teenager, I was pen pals with someone at Disney who was kind of a public person but not what you would call "famous."

I lived in the South. One year, my dad had a business trip to California. We had plans to go to Anaheim and go to Disneyland. It was very exciting, so I told my Disney pen pal.

So, I had never actually met this person. But in a letter, he invited me to stay at his house in his guest bedroom.

I remember thinking, "Oh. That ain't happening." I had never actually met this person, but I had seen photos and seen them on TV. It may have been an innocent invitation, but I thought it was very odd. I was a naive kid, but I also wasn't stupid.

I politely declined, and said thanks for the offer, but I was staying at a hotel with my parents.

We did get to meet this person "in person" at a lunch---with my parents.

Nothing bad ever happened, and this person is dead now. But over the years, I have wondered what might have happened if I had accepted his offer.

Sean, I know Pete's been to rehab on multiple occasions, but do you know if he's tried therapy? It seems like he has a serious personality disorder given his behavior in relationships, his spending habits, his predilection towards addiciton, etc.

I'm no shrink but he reminds me of people in my life with BPD.

He seems like a narcissist which means he likely would not do therapy or stick with it.

I see RLucas is coming on strong with that "why'd you dress that way if you didn't want anything" vibe.

He may have meant furloughed.

If I was guilty of spending a million dollars on credit cards I certainly wouldn’t be showing my face on YouTube today flaunting gaudy sapphire and diamond jewelry, I’d be presenting myself in the most conservative manner possible. If I had items of value I would be busy having them appraised for sale and doing what I could to prepare to pay off the debt. I believe the date on the largest AmEx statement was February and I’m sure the interest and fees don‘t stop accruing just because he has been served papers.

I get nauseous just thinking of being late on paying a bill, how does he sleep at night?

Could he have embezzled company money and used the AmEx card to cover it up? He surely would have fled by now though if that were the case. Did he spend it on his vices? We know he didn't pay off his victims they wouldn't be on here tattling if he did. Too big an ego for that anyway.

I can't for one minute imagine, that he thinks he's done anything wrong. So definitely no pay outs!

No, they do not stop. I'm guessing it's probably up to another $150K, based on the 29.99% penalty rate defined in the membership agreement.
Another interesting point is that the balance on that January statement (closing date 1/13/23, due 2/8/23), is that the pay in full portion is actually carried over from the prior billing period (ending +/- 12/13/22), plus interest, so he /they actually stopped paying last year.

This is what I thought at first too, but then reading the current docs submitted, my take away was that Dreams wants off the lawsuit entirely under the claim that they were unaware Pete even opened a business account in Dreams name.
---
If Dreams believes Pete opened a credit card without authorization and secretly racked up almost a million dollars in company debt, you would think they wouldn’t just want off the suit. They would want in on the case against him and would want him on credit card fraud.

Again, not legal advice or anything but if my business partner opened a card in my companies name and racked up that much debt and I ‘found out’ I would be against them immediately and I’d be actively working to remove them from the company.
This is crazy. It really does look like the card was obtained oddly. The company name is wrong and it was a newly obtained card which doesn’t make sense.

Seems like the "depression" video is a way for Pete to save face.

Does Dreams own the Dis Unplugged or do they just sponsor them? If Dreams owns the Dis, I suspect we've seen the last of Pete on the show.

This calls the rehab stay into question. Was he truly sent there for relapsing, or was it a way for Dreams to get him out of the spotlight while they tried to handle the financial burder?

Rehab? Well now THAT is starting to pull things together… the complaint says the card was acquired for goods OR cash advances…

Who watched the show today and thought something was off with Theresa? Honestly seemed like some bad energy between Pete and Theresa. Also, Erika continues to bring absolutely no value to the show. She did write an article about how to beat the heat by going indoors so some really ground breaking journalism here.

I find it kinda funny that Dreams wants an affirmative defense of “Pete obtained the credit card without actual or apparent authority”. My guy, Pete is listed as President of Dreams on their corporate docs.

It’s pretty clear that Dreams is a proper defendant. I’m expecting Dreams to cross-claim against Pete, they might have in their corporate docs that Pete has no actual authority to enter into this sort of agreement, but that doesn’t prevent Amex from relying on the apparent authority Pete could since he is an officer of Dreams. Crazy stuff.

Omg she did a reel and her tips to beat the heat were

1. Ride an indoor ride
2. Go to an indoor show
3. Go to an indoor space and relax

Basically her whole plan is to go indoors and she made a reel AND wrote an article about it! If it’s to that point, you need to travel in a different season.

Clearly, you didn't follow the chat. Erika is a great writer, and you're just a troll hater.

Theresa wasn't on the aftershow, either.

Pete's dog made an appearance and he showed her off to the camera. I much watch too much YouTube because my immediate thought was he was about to apologize after bringing her in.

Maybe he'll bring a ukelele next time?
