The Consultant Clinic #2 Ffilters, Ffillers & Ffibs!

Just a FYI my username references the movie lalaland and not the controversial lala-gate injector. Just had to clear that up before I got loads of comments to say Hi Lala haha.

This thread is wild! I came across it accidentally after just typing consultant clinic into google and a reddit comment came up in a thread about them being fraudsters - low and behold I found the tattle forum.

I am in shock. I went to CC twice. First time was probably 7/8 years ago, and then again a few months after. I went to get lip filler on both occasions after seeing them on Instagram and being impressed at their credibility as a Dr led practice. It was the first time I would have gotten filler so I wanted to do my research and go to a reputable company... well now I think not so reputable.

When I went it was still in their 'early days' so no cannula's, just needles to inject lip filler. Ffyona was there at my first appointment and told me she was a 'fanny Dr' which made me laugh out loud as she seemed quite funny and put me at ease during the appt. There was another Dr there who was a prostate surgeon, and his brother who was 'training', who was also a Dr of some sort. The Dr who injected me was new and Fffyona was there the whole time instructing him and watching him and hovering over me. The Dr's brother was also there watching. It was quite nerve wracking having 3 people there to be honest but I trusted they knew what they were doing. Ffyona suggested my lips could take more filler, but as it was my first time having it done I was scared to have duck lips so I settled with 1ml, paid and left. I had lumpy lips for weeks. I did message Ffyona who sent me a load of medical jargon and explained this was just the filler settling. I also mentioned my lips looked exactly the same as before filler and she again redirected me to the small print I signed which says that I accepted that I may not get the desired results. She explained that some lips tend to be 'spongy' which just means they require more filler in order to achieve a good result. She offered me a £50 discount for follow up filler in 8 weeks which I accepted (stupidly). I paid another £250 I think it was and got a further 1ml. This was with another Dr, and Ffy walked in and spoke to the Dr and said another 1 ml in lips, that shouldn't take you long, you'll get that done in a few minutes and left. The Dr injecting me was an ENT Surgeon, he was quite arrogant and told me that I had an uneven top lip but that he quite liked it so he didn't correct it - he didn't even ask me! It felt so rushed. Then Ffy frantically walked in again towards the end and took payment and left. I left shortly after. As soon as I left another person was at the door ready to walk in. That put me off a little as it felt like they were just interested in taking the money and not making it a comfortable experience.

Anyway, both times were quite strange experiences and if I'm honest the second time I found Ffy to be very blunt and quite rude how she just walked in and spoke to the Dr as if I wasn't there. Needless to say I have not had filler since. I was just thinking about going back for lip filler recently but now that I have come across these threads... no chance. Can anyone recommend a Dr in London doing lip filler? CC prices have also soared since I first went, and even back then I thought damn this is pricey! £400+ is just ridiculous for 1 ml.

Gotta be thankful for the internet for stuff like this though! Saved myself £££££ and disappointment.

Ahh she told me she was a fanny doctor too!
This is exactly the same as the experiences I had, and I went in 2015 when they were still pretty new.
She was bizarre! The whole appointments were bizarre!

What I don’t understand is, how can she blatantly lie in front of people? Her staff members? Surely they must have all been thinking hmm this doesn’t add up.
Or are they all as bad as each other?

I’d love to speak to a previous employee of CC and hear the juicy details.

From what I’ve seen/heard - all her doctors knew and just allowed it. For the £££! All they’d have to do is check the registers to see she’s not on any. There’s NO WAY they didn’t/don’t know. 🙄 I get that you should go to a nurse or a doctor that she pedals regularly- what I don’t get it that she’s also suggesting people go to HER docs/dentists who are covering her fraud- how is that more ethical? You’re less likely to get botched, but no one’s telling the truth and you’ll be blocked pronto 🤣🙈

If you have to be instructed by someone with zero medical qualifications then how good are you at your job really - and should you even be doing it? 🤔

Shouting as in having a go or just trying to command the attention of the locals? 🤣 ☕

Seemed to me that she was having an argument on the phone but maybe shes just one of those loud people who shout all the time? Ive never met her personally. Her can was completely on the pavement all 4 wheels and people were having to walk on the road to get past. Really strange, Everyone was looking.

That was probably the whole point 🤣

No way! Why would you claim something like that if you aren't a medical professional. That is outrageous. Considering people are going there because they feel they are in safe hands, when actually they are just being lied to. It makes me question the integrity of the Dr's who just sat back and watched this all unfold, unless they didn't know at the time - but they must have?! Being a Dr, they must have checked her credentials and if they didn't then they should probably all be avoided altogether.

I am still in shock about discovering all this. I honestly did remember thinking at the time, well that was a bit odd but never questioned it because I thought maybe this is just how these clinics are run. As a first-timer I had nothing to compare it to, so I just moved on from it. But wow.

Don’t doubt yourself about not questioning it at the time, as you say, why would you? It was your first time and let’s face it, it’s not like everyone else isn’t “duped” either. Some people have probably been returning for years and still believe it!
But it’s really scary when you think about the fact that the person putting fillers in your face was being guided by someone with no training or qualifications whatsoever. If they “did” believe she was medical then maybe they’d have actually done what she told them to and could’ve seriously harmed someone? But the likelihood is that just as she’d have asked them for proof of qualifications they’d have had the common sense to check hers too before allowing her to be involved in their consultations and treatments 🙈 the whole thing is mind blowing when you think about it! Slates non medics all day long but is one herself and tells people what to do. How’s it any different?

What does she mean fanny dr? Like a gynaecologist? Its actually a criminal offence to impersonate a doctor, so she needs to be very careful.
Yeah she’s claimed to be a gynaecologist and ENT surgeon according to the various reviews online. Basically whatever medical speciality suits at the time depending on who she’s talking to! No one does anything though. She just lies about it all and it’s gobbled up. It’s the most bizarre scandal 🤣 I like to think one day there’ll be a Netflix series about her. I hope they use the title of this thread!

Jaysus so she can add gyno to her long list of fake careers she tells people about. Doctor, lawyer, actress, the list goes on!
Don't feel bad about being duped if she can trick her ex husband into believing she was a lawyer then she can trick any of us.
She what now?! Please tell me more about her tricking her ex!!

Her ex actually believed she was a doctor. Shows how convincing she is as he IS a doctor. Also GMC are aware of her, however, as she isn’t a actual doctor there is very little they can do 🤷🏻‍♀️

@lalaland30 are you sure the guy was a ENT surgeon because it would be strange to say the least for an actual surgeon to be working under Ffyona, rather than above lol

I don’t doubt you were told he was a surgeon at all, ‘Consultant Clinic’ is a web of lies. I can see why young doctors and dentists work for her as they get paid quite a bit less but senior doctors/consultants/surgeons earn much more and wouldn’t really have a reason to be working for her, unless as a partner like her ex hubby who she of course conned.

As far as I can tell the Consultant.Clinic in the UK at least has no actual hospital consultants working for them at all 🤡
