He definitely must of played away in the past and the insecurities of that come out when he goes away. God forbid if he is seen smiling and looking happy when he’s not with her, she’ll have a full on breakdown and he’ll be in for it when he gets back

So she's picking him up and then they going away to do some work so Shane wouldn't have seen the kids for a week! She's sad! How do you think these families cope when there partners are in the army etc who go away for months on end and sometimes don't come back! She really needs hitting with a reality stick!
