I bloody knew it would all be producer led and controlled!

It’s annoying and that’s why I don’t watch Don’t Tell The Bride anymore cos it’s faker than Jordan’s tits!

Wonder how much Manrika knew about Felix when she was actually in there!
I wonder how much of Felix and Manrika was forced, it felt random that they had a date and you could tell they both weren’t comfortable with it so it wasn’t their idea!

Now I feel bad for disliking people and liking others more as they’re being manipulated to be a certain way to fit what the producers want to show. They probably pick a “winner” and manipulate it to try and get the players to vote for them!

I can also now see why Manrika has been very upset and has been vocal that her mental health is not great due to the nastiness directed to her over a game show! I don’t think she’s the nicest person in the world but I think it’s clear what we’re seeing isn’t real at all!
Yeah it’s quite horrible.
I only ever see little snippets of the first series so am watching it from the start. I’m only on episode 5 but can’t believe how different the system is. They seemed to be able to freely chat as they wanted.

I am so disappointed. I feel like knowing all this stuff about how much influence the production team really has will taint this show a bit for me now. I am glad James spoke about it though. For once I’d like a reality show to actually be reality at least to an extent. I kind of figured some things would be ‘engineered’ by production, like that date with Felix and Manrika which came from nowhere. But it sounds like they are literally playing The Sims via the Circle. Do they really need to micromanage so much? I’d be pissed if I went in there only to find I was only allowed to speak to certain people and had to get up at 3am to visit some bitches apartment who I didn’t even want to see in the first place😂

Manrika admitted on her instastories that she is a bitch, that she’s ‘too honest’ and that’s why she only has 4 friends. I still think she’s a mean girl regardless of editing.

Having said all that, I’m still gonna watch tonight. So what do I know🙃

Same! Have to finish this series.
Who was the one with a friend linked to production? Tell them they’re wankers ruining the format 🤣

Part of me is annoyed but also I wonder how dull the show would be without any input from the producers? I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️ the Manrika meeting Gemma moment was amazing and we wouldn’t have had that without their manipulation

Don't get me started on Don't Tell The Bride..who among us wasn't waiting for a big disaster, gutted that never happened 🤣 Stopped watching ages ago as it became so obvious whole thing controlled.
It's so annoying when producers try to steer a show, leave people alone in the circle setting and they will create drama anyway!

Is James even allowed to speak about the behind the scenes and production of the show, surely they all had to sign NDA’s? It’s interesting if what he’s saying is true, though. I don’t understand why he wasn’t allowed to speak to Vithun but then Vithun is also just not making an effort to speak to anyone? Unless it’s the producers not letting Vithun initiate conversations? Is he just sitting in his room all day? I don’t know, it’s really weird, I don’t understand how Vithun even got through the audition process if he’s clearly too introverted.

Such a shame that its so controlled by the producers! I think James is very bitter about his time on there so could he be exaggerating a bit? Alex from series 1 made quite a few YouTube videos about his time on there and the behind the scenes and I can't remember him saying anything like that.
I don’t think he was exaggerating, other players from series 1 & 2 were commenting to say he was spot on. I don’t think he’s bitter either I think he’s rightfully pissed off! But like everyone, I’m still gonna watch 🤣🤣🤣

A lot can change from one series to the next so it’s entirely possible that a contestant from series 1 would have a different experience to someone in series 3. Also Alex was the winner of his series, so he probably got special treatment. Don’t mean that in a nasty was as I liked Alex but they’re obviously going to treat their winners well compared to someone who went out half way through.

I wonder this too. Part of me thinks they should just get over it and let things play out. If it’s boring then it’s boring. But I guess they care about ratings and getting signed up for another season so there is probably very little room for error from where they are sitting. It’s a shame that money and ratings comes before providing quality and unique forms of tv entertainment these days.

I just feel like maybe they could tone things down a little. Twists can be fun but there’s just too many! The games are a great way to ‘manipulate’ things and cause drama. Still can’t understand why contestants can’t converse with who they want, after all that is kind of the point of the game.
