I can buy the virgin thing because he hasn't spoken about it in there, and it makes no difference to the audience so there's no benefit to the lie.

He has a bible verse in his instagram bio and I don't know a single guy who would say they were a virgin if they weren't.

Who knows, but there's something about him that makes me see it as a possibility 🤷‍♀️

sorry I think lockdown has turned me into a complete nut job. Your right. He is quite religious. Also a dive into his Instagram - brother Ed went to Cornell university. He seemed on the last season like such an airhead. I have some new found respect for that fam!

I remember everyone on the first season being crazy impressed by Ed's helicopter engineering job.

Just read an article about how Mitchell was apparently hugely racist and homophobic in high school.

Same article was also saying that season two is much better than season one 🤷‍♀️

Tell me about it! It said it was because it's a lot more competitive than the first but I'm not even sure about that. It's more blatant and ruthless than the first but the people in the first played the long game better in my opinion.

In the first I was actually interested in the meets after blocking, whether that was because there might be drama or because the people seemed to genuinely get on. Even in the final I was looking forward to Joey meeting Shoobs because of what they'd built, but there's none of that for me this season.

2100, episode 9. I was going to put some sort of celebratory emojo but it'll probably be a massive let down 😂

Probably another new person going in though to make Lancily less obvious.
 
Just caught up with Monday episode 😴😴 here we go again!! At least the American producers remeber to at least fake the meeting alert unlike the UK one but goddddd this is gonna be painfully boring Lance and Emily share one singular braincell between them and have the personality of a wet blanket it’s gonna be painful to watch
 
I think the problem with this season for me is that the episodes are edited to focus so much on the drama and the blockings (seriously, has anybody else noticed that in the blocking episodes they do the ratings 15-20 minutes in and then the elimination takes up the rest of the episode?) so we haven’t actually got a chance to see them form meaningful bonds with each other. In the UK version you see them making friends and I think you get more invested when you know who is allied with who and what the repercussions of each little action are but I don’t feel like we’ve been given the chance to really get to know the players.
 
I'll admit I've not watched any of the second US season...BUT I did finish watching the first season this week! I loved it. Couldn't stand Joey in the first episode but he grew on me, also loved Chris. All of them seemed genuinely open and it was so refreshing after the shitshow that was UK series 3.

I'm not hearing many great things about US3 though 😬
 
I almost completely forgot about the circle altogether if I hadn't seen it on the main screen if Netflix I think I could've happily not even seen the rest of the season 😂 oh well they've got what 4 episodes to reel me back in? 😵
