Day 10 of a birthday month I no longer feel like celebrating.

Tonight, we lost our little girl cat Tipu. An undetected illness took her from us. Her little body swelled up and a few hours later at the vet, it was discovered that she had a ruptured tumor on her liver. Our only choice was to say our goodbyes. A rare Dragon Li breed, Tipu was rescued by Mr. Io from a breeder in China who planned to have Tipu put down because she was blind. Love at first sight compelled Mr. Io to arrange her rescue and have her flown to Northern Ireland. She was dying, battered, and close to death from starvation. Mr. Io has some, let's say 'diplomatic military influence.' Nursed back to health Tipu gave us close to ten years of purring sweetness and unconditional love. It never mattered that Tipu was blind; she saw with her soul. She saw how much she was loved, and is loved still. I am beyond broken at loosing her. Mr. Io is just shattered. He has lost his little girl. I have lost my baby. Loved beyond belief, we are both devastated. But also grateful to Tipu for allowing us to be her cat guardians. Who will tuck her in tonight, as I did every night? Perhaps they have angels for this sort of thing?

Please spare Tipu a kind thought tonight. I am bowing out for a while. May Bast protect.

So sorry to hear that little Tipu has passed on.

When you are ready, you should continue your celebrations. Celebrate her life. Share her memories.

I hope you and Mr Io are doing ok 😙

I was bemused by Stephanie's excited anticipation when she saw evidence of optical fibre being installed as she was driving along with Michael Potts. We had fibre optic cable installed last Monday, one of the first households in Castlemaine. It was a very straightforward and uncomplicated installation because our's is an 1893 timber cottage. The cost was covered by the NBN . . . National Broadband Network.

For our friends however, it was not straightforward. Their house was built round about the mid 1800s with meter thick stone walls. They had to employ a cabler from out of town because it was deemed a non standard installation. They were out of pocket by just over $1500 as the cable is classified as 'commercial'.

I see fun and games on the horizon when the time comes to install fibre optic cable to the dump.

Hello lovely people!

My first time back on here in ages, I've been away in England sorting my late mother's house ready for sale, clearing, sorting, boxing and redecorating. Its been a physically and emotionally tiring experience, I am totally drained but glad to be home.

I have only gone back over a few pages, I hope all those that were in the way of both of the recent hurricanes are doing ok.

Iolair, I saw someone quoting your sad news, I'm so sorry to hear about your baby Tipu, You know that you both gave her the best life a cat could ever have that started with an amazing act of kindness and love, I hope that she is playing somewhere with my two babies that I lost earlier this year, Sir Humphrey and Footie. The pain is deep, take the time you need.

Hello Tartlets and Tartgents- thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. We are fine- we returned home last night from Fort Walton Beach, and other than almost a foot of muddy water that got into the garage and a massive debris field, we were spared. No power or internet, but we have a house generator and loaned our spare to a friend. Our air con is not working with the gen set, but we keep a spare window unit on a shelf in the garage so that came in handy for our master suite. 'Spent the day emptying and cleaning out the garage. We had put the majority of lower lying contents (like lawnmower and tools) on tables where we park the truck beforehand, but the stuff we could not raise (NordicTrack, stationary bike, big metal tool chest, refrigerator, and freezer) have to be replaced, along with the lower cabinets on one side of the garage. While the lower cabinets on the other side of the garage are plastic composite, we still have to remove the worktop and pull those out to clean under them. My SUV is fine, but my little convertible is acting wonky. No ingress to the house or pool, so we are counting our blessings. We have a lot of systems that were under salt water that will need to be inspected as well. Sailboat is still floating, and powerboat is still on the lift- but they sustained some damage. I cannot complain, though, as many of my neighbours had it much MUCH worse. They had just cleaned up the mud in their homes from Helene, cut out drywall and removed furniture and flooring and now this. All of the pools we saved last week are once again trashed.

But, we're a resilient lot, and everyone is trying to find the humour in it. Almost everyone had furniture wash up in their yard- there was a sofa in mine, my next door neighbour had a full-size refrigerator and an end table in his. Only 2 houses on my street were unscathed- my 77-year old neighbour (who cleaned up debris in my yard for me) and another who got out his riding mower to tow stuff to the curb. After blowing up my Breville toaster oven (bad idea to plug in when on generator power), I texted @mrsp67 to see if they were open to order lunch delivery (our grill is behind the boathouse furniture stacked on our lanai), and she sent some soup and cheesecake as well with our subs. (She also saved me because in my haste of grabbing cash to pay the driver, dropped some in the house, discovered it in Luna's mouth after the driver left prancing around like she won the lottery- apparently, Luna had plans for this "windfall" because it wasn't shredded into a million pieces- SMH! I had to trade it for a treatie and texted @mrsp67 to spot me for the rest of the tip until I can get to the shop to repay her- I was pretty mortified! Thank you @mrsp67 for saving me from being the worst tipper in Port Charlotte, and for the delicious lunch and supper! We ❤ you!)

Both Mr. T Rex and I are each other's "reality checks"- when one complains about something, the other remarks, "It's not so bad. The house is fine, we're not tearing out drywall and baseboards and those around us have it far worse." Counting our blessings. We have great insurance, so that's a plus. Hugs and love to you all, and thanks for the prayers and good vibes!

She said she had nothing to wear :rolleyes::rolleyes: . . . what about that plunging to the waist corker she wore for New Years?

My heart breaks for all those dealing with destruction and loss. Living in the north with severe snow storms I think we all try to do the best with where we live , but Mother Nature can be a nasty witch at times. I hope everyone can pick up and move on as best as they can. Hold your loved ones close and help where you can. Prayers for all

Stephanie ~ your posts are getting to be pretty repetitive ~ ie walks with Galahad and no new content. Is nothing happening currently ? Looking fw to autumn where it gets more interesting. Also missed your update as to why all are wearing outside wear inside. Why don’t you have heating yet????

Did you watch the update about the chapel? As from the heating system, as soon as the boiler room is inspected and past, then the heating company can start the venting process

Wearing heels that high has to mean that there has been another LaLande miracle. The bad back has been cured/(forgotten?) How many holidays this year Stephanie?

Another new dress. Another new pair of shoes. Another trip, blah blah blah. Please send money

People who have seen the TRUE story of the chapel wouldn’t be dazzled but dismayed at the acts undertaken by Stephanie and her friends in what she says is a consecrated space. Watch “The transformation of the Chateau Diaries chapel” to see what really happened at the chapel at LaLande before Stephanie used it for her money making scheming. Disgusting.

So nice that you got to take another trip and have a lovely meal. When will you have heat in your chateau or fix the things or finish the repairs that have been started? If you actually finished any of the projects at LaLande, your home would be quite beautiful.

How can Stephanie offer a discount for the pop up cards but she says offering a discount on rooms at the dump is against patreon rules And is what got her suspended for several weeks this year? Another day, another boatload of lies from grifter Stephanie Jarvis.

Hello lovely people! I'm very excited to let you all know that we've just launched our Lalande pop-up cards of the Chateau de Lalande! Each...

Stephanie has 828 pop up cards left to sell. You know that she is not addressing and mailing all the pop-up cards herself. She does it for 5 to 10 minutes to shoot video and then shoves the task off on Nutty. The woman is too lazy to even pull one weed anywhere on the dump grounds. She is trying to look like she cares about every single person who watches her videos, and will personally address and mail their super over priced card. Is six dollars for shipping to the United States from France correct or is it excessive? Normally, cards are marked up 2 to 3 times the cost of manufacturing a card. How much do you believe each card cost to manufacture and how much $$$$ has she marked each card up over the cost of manufacturing each card? is she clearing a minimum of $10-$11 her pop up card for her imaginary non existent “ fund” and is she clearing any money from the six dollars she charges for each card sent from France to the United States?

74 cards sold today, total 250 cards.754 cards left.251,000 subscribers, 250 pop up cards sold.

Beggars belief!
- What the duck type of event did Fanny think the Abba Experience was? She looks like a middle-aged slapper. That outfit wasn't by happenchance. Fanny curated that outfit to look like a cheap hooker.
- What BS!!! Fanny's in town monthly for her botox & mani/pedi refresh, but she doesn't have any clothes in London? Odd how she just happened to have black stilettos in London.
- I'd be embarrassed to go out the door with her dressed in that get-up! Mummy should have slapped her for wearing that outfit!
- If Fanny's embarrassed by Scotman's jokes, she should look in the mirror!

So sorry you lost your Breville. If you’d like I can send a Toast Fucker 3000. I’ve got a spare in the shed.😎
