They'll do a CD next. Fanny singing Xmas hymns with Snorts on piano. The face of the CD will festure an angelic looking Fanny inside the chapel, or out in front in the snow. Dedicated fans will snap them up. Any leftovers, Fanny will use as stocking stuffers. Those poor fans who do buy a copy, will realise their mistake and will then have to run about trying to find a CD player 'cause hardly anyone uses them anymore. Naturally, after ordering a CD of Fanny singing in time for Xmas, the CD's will arrive in February.

I haven’t actually read anywhere, why the heating is still not happening, I know an engineer died, but surely thats not preventing the heating now. How to the guests keep warm. I hate the cold and as lovely as it looks there, not for me if no heat.

This past weekend October 6 was the weekend they recently advertised they had space open for bookings at the shitoo. I wonder if it was just a rouse and there were no guests this past weekend at all, and they could instead be away travelling. I bet Potty went with them to Scotland because F1 is still on break. I suspect Mummy and Percy have now left too because Fanny previously let it slip they were back for only a few days.

It should be a permanent dedication. Disappointing to find out that there’s a time limit on the star dedications.

There is no time limit on the dedications, yet several people have contacted to ask us about this, so I’m not sure where that’s coming from? The terms and conditions of our website state that the star map on the website will be kept active for at least seven years. Is that what you’re referring to? Just to clarify, the dedications are definitely permanent and we’ll have a book of all of them kept in the chapel

@Iolair Carrot cake recipe
Sorry it's only in imperial rather than metric.

14oz caster sugar
4 Eggs
14fl Oz sunflower oil
14oz grated carrots
1 teaspoon each. Mixed spice, salt and vanilla
14oz self raising flour

Whisk... oil, sugar and eggs until thick and pale.
Mix in flour, spice and salt
Stir in carrots and vanilla.

This recipe makes two 2lb loaves or could be done in sandwich tin.
Bake at 170 oC for 1 hour.

Cool and ice.
Beat together.
1oz butter (room temp)
3oz Philidelphia
Juice and zest of quarter lemon
6oz icing sugar
This is half what Avoca recipe says for the icing as I think it's too much otherwise. ⁵

It's for Mr. Io to figure out as the kitchen is his domain. I only ever go in there when I need a drink... or a knife. 😉 😉 😉
