Possibly last but not least, Galahad advises hand washing hygiene is a must. Not sure alot of that gets carried out at the Shitoo though 😂 🤢

I've enjoyed Brian's vlogs for the views away from Chateau Land. He's a breath of fresh air. He has mentioned working around the world so I think he will probably have quite an interesting story. Nick's vlog was interesting but I don't think he will find it easy to make regular vlogs. He himself says that he is a very private man although I can see that working with. Dan and Brian has brought him our of his shell a little more. There seems to be an easy going camaraderie between Dan, Brian, Nick and Gavin (Orange Pants Man). There was a similar friendship with Amaury and Dan and so I would love to know what really happened there. For sure Fanny was involved in that! I always think that Nick seems to be rather sad. I know that has sons but that he he's a widower.

I reckon that the government minister who closed down most of the stations in the UK in the 1980s must have lived down here as there are so many stations still operating, though not all trains stop there, but a lot do, as Beach Girl will know. Since our railways were privatised, they have been really inefficient and expensive. However, when American friends came to visit recently, they thought our train service was wonderful which most Brits would not agree with. The new govt is thinking of re-nationalising the railway.

Yes, Dorset is my favourite county. So much of it is unspoilt and probably very much as it was in Hardy's day.
 
I felt like the 'friendship' was starting to crumble when Dan came to Amaury with the old window. I think he was hoping that he could motivate Amaury to make the window frames for him. Instead, Amaury just showed him how to do it. Either Amaury didn't understand the hidden question for support or ignored it out of laziness.

As we can see, Dan only seems to have “work friendships.” And Amaury seems to be more of a fan of sports and beer.

So I don't think anything serious really happened. When priorities and the environment change, people's relationships with one another automatically change.
 
We only really see Dan at work. He used to have a good relationship with with his former neighbour. Brian has said that he was a friend of Dan and that's how he came to help him cleaning the moat at Lalande. His friend from the UK who comes from time to time to help has said on IG that they have been friends since they were teens so I'm not sure it's accurate to say that he only has work friendships. Amaury on the other hand didn't even have a friend coming to his wedding!
I still think that something happened that had Fanny at the root.

As I said, we don't see Dan outside of work! Brian was his friend before coming to work with him, as was Nick and his friend from home. That sounds as though they work with him because they are friends rather than friends because they work together.

I think the clue could be in Nasti & Annalise’s friendship. They seem really close. In my experience, a lot of male friendships end when their female partners don’t approve of a certain male friend in their life. Nasti is definitely Team Annalise

which could also mean that Amaury and Dan are still best friends, but because it happens outside of "working hours" no one sees it. Not being at the wedding could have been because Annaliese was busy with hairjobs, Kat was invited (for blowjobs?) and he preferred to avoid the drama and go on holiday with the boys. I'm not contradicting you, just as long as neither of them speaks out (which won't be the case) or we see the opposite, it's all based on speculation. It could be so, but it could also be completely different.

Was cat invited? Or did she wedding crash?

All of the above reasonings are valid and all open to question. Unless one of the parties speaks up we'll never know. It makes for great gossip though, which is what we're all about. I have liked all your responses and discussion for and against because I can see all sides being possible 😉

Maybe Fanny invited her? If Fanny was paying maybe she felt she could also add to the guest list. It was interesting to see that other than a few of Natti's friends and Amaury's family, it looked like a Lalande staff/ ex staff party! Wonder why Mary Poppins and the Masseuse didn't make the cut.

Mmmmm good point, but maybe Amaurey invited Dan & Annalise at Fanny’s request for content & for old times sake, Dan backed out because of the boys, and Kat thought ‘sod it I’ll go’.
It’s a bloody mystery as normal 😀

Where I live now near Wokingham we only get 2 stopping trains an hour as well. When the schools come out we get a couple extra for an hour but that’s it. I think the ticket office is only open during the morning as well.

absolutely not, she works for EU/international institutions dont you worry they are generously paid, and they have so many benefits on top of it dont pay tax etc.

Luxury! No trains since 2004 and 2, yes that's 2, buses a day going out - 7.30 and 17.30. But not on Sunday and Saturdays buses run a bit later in the morning and earlier in the evening.
