also be an Australian, and as much as I feel Brett and Denise are truly a class act together, I didn't like her dress. I thought it was a little too demure, and a little too granny. She can certainly pull off something more elegant, because she IS elegant. The colour suited her, but not the design imo.
(A funny side note for my fellow Aussies, my lovely sweet mother in law was visiting Melbourne and later commented to me that she thought Australian women were the best dressed of any country she had ever visited. She was amazed how beautiful they were with their pretty frocks, high heels, purses, gloves and hats and the gentleman with them, wearing their refined suits and looking as gentleman should. In Melbourne's CBD, on board the trains and trams, in the stores and strolling along the footpaths, the utterly beautiful Australian fashionistas were everywhere and my MIL was totally enchanted. She took photos and when she showed them to me I asked what date it was that she was in Melbourne... it must have been the first week in November, she said, probably the Tuesday. I just smiled at that and kept it to myself
