They probably have their own car which they drove from the Netherlands. Stephanie said that Philip’s parents were staying at Lalande. There are eigth plates on the dinner table : Stephanie, Philip, Philip’s parents, Andie (who is Dutch), Grant and his daughter, and Marie.

Having spent 20 years working in a museum, I have seen what can happen when wood, fabric, and paper are stored in spaces with no environmental conditioning. I agree with the other comment, you might as well give all those items away right now, so someone else can use them. After years in a storage container, they will be ruined. Changing temperatures, uncontrollable humidity, insects and rodents must be controlled. A storage container is just the worst

I don't normally reply, however we are on the same page regarding the panels. Nothing is making sense!!! Somewhere in this long thread it was mentioned that Philip is the project manager. That's the problem! Love Philip, but he has zero experience in construction. The contractors would eat him alive. Stephanie's architect has told him to shut up in one of the vlogs. Amaury is being blamed, but I am sure this isn't his doing!!! It's a hot mess!!! No - they need heat for it to be hot!! LOL

Are they green jasperware cameos?

It is odd that Fanny should wish to hide her earrings when she flaunts everything else.

Grant has packed SIXTY FOUR boxes of books for the container. Fanny says that is great it has made space so that I can collect books up from around the dump and move them up to the empty shelves. HOARDER.

I recently lost 5 kg. I'd like to attribute that to Philip, because everything he says and does makes me projectile vomit my breakfast, my lunch and my dinner.

I have always harboured a schoolgirl (*coughs* - I think I’m now teetering on the brink of old lady) crush on both Marcus Wareing and Rick Stein. Radio silence from me incoming, while I feast on MW Simply Provence which I’ve somehow missed!

It would be good if some, if not all, of the food served to B&B guests focused on local dishes. There have been any number of suggestions on Tattle about seasonal recipes associated with the area. It’s not as if they’re short of inspiration at Lalande, either, as several regional cookery books have been waved about by Stephanie. Having said that, I’m not so bothered by local dishes as providing really good French food. Not fancy-schmancy, over-presented dishes which are heavy on complicated, time-consuming technique and light on substance. “Simple” food that is beautifully cooked, the sort of food that one would eat if asked to someone’s home. To me, that is both the heart and the art of French cooking: let ingredients speak for themselves.

Remember the abomination that MariA called ratatouille?! I was speechless when I saw it.

If the cameos are green, it is possible that the cameos could be from the 1700s or 1800s, just driving up the price of the earrings. I wonder if they were sold at an auction.

I don't know it all sounds like utter bs. I believe Phillip's parents have cut ties with him and it's all a big charade for the viewers..there's not even much as an elbow to see ...ever! Most accountants would rather die than be involved in dodgy tax "fiddling".
