Was Andie known to the dump before Snorts?

Apart from being Dutch why was she invited to meet with Snorts parents? Is she related as we think?

As for the shopaholic issue,Snorts is forever buying Andie stuff. Does he owe her for his job/ with benefits?

Look at his cuff and fingers. Is it the same as the hand on the table in the chip shop…?
So.........you're thinking that the lady with the super short hair and the man at the whose hand was shown at the restaurant are Philip's parents?
I am open to that possibility, but I think my mind is blown...posters here from way back have posited that these two people were Philip's parents, so I did the same!

BTW, he is not bisexual. He is a gay man who perhaps sleeps with women when it is to his advantage. But there’s nothing sexual about that. There’s no attraction to women - just to their jewellery, clothes, money and dishes. He is gayer than a Pride Parade - and his parents know it. His Bro knows it. Bubbles knows it, too.

Ratso is not restrained in the back seat as he moves from behind PJ to behind SJ while she is blathering on about the book.

Andi's crusher looks more like a dinner gong mallet.
Poor Marie, she's purged that kitchen to at least function, but the riff raff keep gifting her more crap... Give her a T-shirt or an apron for crying out loud... it's NOT HER KITCHEN, and she needs work clothes.. how many times must she ask???

Questions ,questions ,questions? Why do they keep mentioning thanksgiving ? the Brits don’t celebrate, the Dutch don’t celebrate it , what is the deal with that?
Those coral plates? How the heck are they supposed to get them to South Africa? Do they ship them on a slow boat? There’s no way she could carry them in her luggage.
Tacos ! there are not enough there for all those people? What are they thinking?
Why does fanny always talk like a 15 year old school girl, giddy, giddy, giddy over everything?
( all this is pertaining to the last video)

I don't think so. Much more petite, at least in these pictures, courtesy of @KiKiGee

So was Aunt TwoTon...

If you click on the link to Fanny’s patron page she delivers …a very short teaser . It was from this that we learnt that Daddy bought HER the studio in 1999 when she would have been 24…so that she could be near her grandmother. It is another lie as it does not add up or make sense.
Exactly why she could not stay with her Grandmother when she had stayed with her every holiday since she was 3 years old etc.
It is just a story so that Patron don’t think she is well off.
Well, my parents bought me a Barbie Dream House when I was nine years old! Top that Fanny!

Margaret Thatcher lived in a suite in the Ritz, London and died there. Probably cheaper than a London nursing home and far better service.
There was a channel that popped up on my YouTube a few months ago about a couple who ditched everything they owned and are living their lives in hotel resorts, claiming it's cheaper than rent, owning a home (and every expense that goes along with both home ownership and renting a home) and more "exciting" because you get to go to all these different places in the world. I watched about half of one where they discussed meals and how inexpensive that was for them, as they'd go to the happy hours that the resort provided and bought their one drink and then ate dinner from the light buffet provided by the hotel during these evening happy hours. I can't remember what they did for breakfast and dinner. They talked about the resort they were staying in at the time, which had a gym and laundry facilities (which are the type of amenities that they look for when they stay at a particular resort) and maintained that, for them, this sort of lifestyle was far less expensive living than staying sedentary someplace else and traveling.

I guess it beats van life, but I don't think I could live that way.

I have always harboured a schoolgirl (*coughs* - I think I’m now teetering on the brink of old lady) crush on both Marcus Wareing and Rick Stein. Radio silence from me incoming, while I feast on MW Simply Provence which I’ve somehow missed!

It would be good if some, if not all, of the food served to B&B guests focused on local dishes. There have been any number of suggestions on Tattle about seasonal recipes associated with the area. It’s not as if they’re short of inspiration at Lalande, either, as several regional cookery books have been waved about by Stephanie. Having said that, I’m not so bothered by local dishes as providing really good French food. Not fancy-schmancy, over-presented dishes which are heavy on complicated, time-consuming technique and light on substance. “Simple” food that is beautifully cooked, the sort of food that one would eat if asked to someone’s home. To me, that is both the heart and the art of French cooking: let ingredients speak for themselves.

Remember the abomination that MariA called ratatouille?! I was speechless when I saw it.
Marcus Wareing and Patrick Grant (Great British Sewing Bee) are my guilty pleasures! 😊

So . . . Stephanie and Philip had a fish and chip lunch with Philip's parents. The man at lunch had the same long sleeved top over a long sleeved white shirt as the man who was standing next to Marie in the dining room at dinner. His parents were at the dump for dinner. I believe the man at lunch is the same man as the one at dinner.

Apropos of nothing, that's a lot of seafood in one day.
I don’t think it was all the same day and cynical me doesn’t believe those are Snorty’s parents, but friends of Andie’s. More timey-wimey from Fanny and I don’t trust any of her timelines.

May 1, when they visited Chateau Chambord Chateau was a Wednesday. The drive to Chambord from the HMN is 2.5 hours one way. Believe they stayed in the Loire and may have met Snorty’s parents for dinner that night, but don’t believe they or his parents came back to the chateau on the Wednesday evening.

The visit to Limoges is 90 minutes each way. Don’t see them driving back to Lalande on the Wednesday night then getting up and driving again for the day on Thursday down to Limoges for shopping and lunch (Even for porcelain), and then back to the HMN for dinner. Given they don't get up until noon and left late to travel to the brocante sale, it's unlikely that Snorty & Fanny drove from HMN-Chambord-Dinner-HMN and then the next day drove from HMN-Limogoes-Lunch-HMN-Dinner.

FRK also said something about the flowers arriving on Tuesday, so I think Fanny and Snorty were gone most of the week between April 29 - May 3.
.
I’m also not sure they had any guests at the shitoo last weekend (May3) and instead Fanny & Snorty headed off to the south of France. Someone, likely Potty, posted a false review from Ron Robertson-La France, pretending guests had been at the shitoo. Fanny loves playing these time games because she thinks she’s being clever, and that’s why her editing takes forever.
