My colleague (at the time) told me her husband fitted black carpets for them when they lived there & he was shocked she dried her skimpy knickers on the radiatorI used to live in the same apartment block as vic n dave when they lived in Cheshire. Brooklyn was only a baby. She was a pain in the arse. She always left the giant buggy by the door and everyone used to fall over it. If you said anything she would give you the middle finger ... literally !
i remember she was booked into the same nail salon when I was in just by chance. She screeched up in her car and her driver rushed her in under a massive umbrella ( it wasn’t raining at the time ) so nobody could see her and she ran upstairs for whatever treatment she was having. Nobody batted an eyelid. Nobody gave a duck tbh but she was so DRAMATIC ! Still makes me smile. That’s all I have !
But of all the great father son moments that was what he singled out. Clearly the PR people didn’t write that post The over-sharing by the Beckham family on every single family occasion does my head in. Only Harper to go and she is already being marketed relentlessly. I wonder if any of the Beckham children will ever wish one day they had a more normal private childhood. It is possible. See children of Stella McCartney etc.So Brooklyn’s 21st brought out the self satisfied love in from the Beckham cult we have come to expect.
This post from DB stood out to me though....

“In all the places I won them” wowww- way to make your sons birthday an excuse to show off your past glories. I get he’s saying it meant a lot having Brooklyn by his side on those occasions but he could have worded it better at the very least , if he insists on mentioning that in a public post at all.
Being a Beckham child probably means being expected to worship at the alter of David from day 1.
I find these public, second person accounts of happy birthdays very puzzling. I mean, really, who gives two hoots about someone else’s kid’s coming of age? They always manage to bring it round to themselves too like well done, you’ve sired a child who’s now 21. Big deal, chiefSo Brooklyn’s 21st brought out the self satisfied love in from the Beckham cult we have come to expect.

I mean in general I echo this sentiment, but with the beckhams every.single.minor.acheivement for any family member requires them all to upload an Instagram post, tagging every other member of the family and without fail, expressing how much they love them and how proud they are. That part is very important.I find these public, second person accounts of happy birthdays very puzzling. I mean, really, who gives two hoots about someone else’s kid’s coming of age? I am surprised you say he could have worded it better. He has trouble stringing two words together. This was probably done by his PA. Noway did he manage all this by himself. He is a good footballer, but he is hardly brain of Britain. So Brooklyn’s 21st brought out the self satisfied love in from the Beckham cult we have come to expect.

Speculation but it’s probably about money. High profile couples can make money from the sole fact of their partnership - no one on earth knows that more than the Beckham’s. If Brooklyn can use his relationship for publicity and find extra brand deals he wouldn’t on his own, they will no doubt support it. Also they indulge him so much, its honestly hard to ever imagine them disciplining him, he’s the first born boy wonder, they probably pat him on the head and say how sweet it is, Brooklyn in love.Find it interesting on all the articles that have been coming out about Brooklyn wanting to marry gf #100 along with all his vom inducing comments to her publicly. Surely with how strict they supposedly are with PR thats not the kind of image the Beckhams want out in the public of BB getting married so young to someone he hasn't known that long and then inevitably moving onto the next?? The family baffles me
I did have a little snigger when Stella McCartney ((allegedly) tore the Beckhams a new hole after her daughter’s photo was published at Harper’s Buckingham Palace birthday party and demanded it was taken off social media .
I wonder if that’s why Harper moved girls schools?

Just a point about the Beckhams as one poster made it earlier
There are player rankings at all levels of tennis based on games / wins and Romeo doesn’t rank very highly for his area/age.
He’s probably as good a player as Brooklyn is a photographer.
It’s very well to talk about work ethic but kids need a base and regular practise at his age to improve not flying around the world and pap shots at Wimbledon and playing a few balls with a tennis star.
Cruz seems to have the most privacy of the children. Well of the ones David has with Victorua
Now let’s not exaggerate, I’m a better tennis player than Brooklyn is a photographer and I haven’t picked up a racket in about 15 years. He’s probably as good a player as Brooklyn is a photographer.
I’ve heard quite good things about Romeo. He’s now doing a levels at a boarding school and doesn’t really ‘rinse’ the name as everyone around him is as rich or richer than his family. He’s only had one girlfriend who he’s been with for a year now, who he adores. Now let’s not exaggerate, I’m a better tennis player than Brooklyn is a photographer and I haven’t picked up a racket in about 15 years.
I thought Romeo might have more crieisblity because a year or two ago he seemed to be going to practice a lot - weekends, evenings etc suggesting a level of dedication. Plus being good at sport is in his family, and it’s not something you can bullshit at - not as easily as taking photos on your iPhone anyway.
But he doesn’t post about training anymore and nor does Victoria who wouldn’t have stopped showing off about it from choice. I bet he hit 16/17 got more into going out, hooking up with girls and rinsing all the benefits of his name like his brother before him. He definitely has the face of a duck boy nowadays. Looking at him I see ‘the popular boy’ you find in any school. Has the [im]maturity of any 17 year old boy and the confidence and status get away with most things. cruel to the weak. surname makes it all ten times worse.
