Just watching that vlog again, I cannot believe they think this wood style looks ok with the staircase 😭

All the arrogance Mark has, and all the years he worked in engineering or whatever it was, and they didn't even go with a builder that was a personal recommendation or who had a good reputation?!! No wonder it took about 800 years for the footings to get done, the builder must have been laughing all the way to the bank keeping them hanging on while he did other jobs! Maybe that's why her skin's flared up, because she's so stressed and embarrassed by what an enormous bleeping hash up they've made of their extension?!

(Also her red sock moment that she's having recently is peculiar, she wrote the other day about how amazing it was to discover red socks as if wearing a colour on her feet has changed her life....she truly needs to get out more!!)

I will say I’m sorry to hear they’re having problems with their extension, especially now it’s cold and they’ve got a little one. That must be very deflating after all the excitement of getting it finished. But also in reply to above, when I first saw the thumbnail of this outfit post, I thought, oh how nice at least she’s out for a change (as I thought the backdrop was a cafe somewhere).

Though I agree it must be taxing to deal with all these issues during winter, I feel like they bear a huge portion of responsibility for that too – seems like they didn't do any research, wanted to have it over asap in anna's case for CONteNt and, most importantly, didn't take time to thoroughly deal with the damp, mold, rats and whatever additional issues the house has before starting the renovation. I'm not sure if i'm living in a bubble, but everyone around me knows that if you don't get mold properly sorted before extending the original building, it will either spread into the new-built walls extremely fast or it will reappear and then spread all over again.

Ps I had genuinely forgotten about the downstairs toilet that looks like the walls are made from ham

The thought of someone dressing up like this to wear around the house, cracks me up. She's probably trotting around like a clydesdale horse. Just normal human being things.#content

I'd forgotten that her and Mark both had their tevas surgically attached for most of the last couple of years - please don't let her wear them with the red socks and declare it a cross-seasonal trend moment!!

I still can't get over the socks and ballet pumps - I wore colourful socks with my ballet pumps in sixth form in 2004/2005 and I looked bleeping insane (partly because one pair of pumps were green 🤣), when I look at her feet I just see awkward 17 year old me trotting around school in my Dorothy Perkins jeans and cardigan with a New Look rugby collar top underneath 😂
