I think Anna is more willing than Lily to spend her own money in the hopes that featuring a product repeatedly on her channels will result in either paid work or getting on the company’s PR list. Lily doesn’t open her purse at all at this point.

I also think Anna is better at just making a nice and clean post. Neutral and showcasing the product. Original? —No, but it does the job. No, it’s not Lily’s stop-motion, but nobody wants that anyway.

I have to say, I used to be quite obsessed with Whistles as well, but they’re just not as nice anymore. I don’t know if there was some sort of leadership change or whatever, but the brand has changed in a direction I do not enjoy anymore.

That’s not to say Anna was perhaps sponsored and is not anymore, but I don’t think Whistles did much sponsoring of influencers back then. I could be wrong though.

I think it was after Jane Shepherdson left that it went downhill. She was the one responsible for Topshop’s turnaround back in the day too.
