From the final score alone I find it depressing that 37 year old Novak can so easily beat a 21 year old top 20 player. They all have too much respect and I bet they’re all wondering what the hell is up with that oh so severe injury he had.
Mens game doesn't seem to have the depth just now. Some talented young players but far off the depth it had 2008-2013 imo

I know it was said that he has surgery but IMO I don't think he had surgery at all. He isn't even displaying any signs of injury and no wonder out of Rafa, Roger, Andy and himself he is the most disliked of them all. I can't stand him.

He still can’t figure out why he isn’t universally loved the way Roger or Rafa were. Will be interesting to see what happens when he does retire one day. Roger‘s success and fame went beyond tennis, he was and is respected by so many in sports and entertainment. Can’t imagine Novak getting the same kind of honors Roger did.

It just doesn’t add up at all, does it? As I mentioned up-thread, he’s showing no signs whatsoever of any medical intervention on his knee. And there has been a few comments on the coverage about how extremely expeditious his recovery has been 🤔

Fritz had the same surgery and was back playing in three weeks. It must be a very minor surgery.

Exactly he expects to be loved the way Roger and Rafa were but he is never going to be as people know he is unsporting and cheats his way to victory because on numerous occasions he looks out on his feet and then suddenly he stages a remarkable recovery as if nothing was wrong with him in the first place. Novak 100% not get the same kind of honours that Roger did as people love Roger and still respect him now as they always speak so highly of him. If people ask me who the GOAT is I will always say Rafa and Roger.
