Just been rewatching the show and the way Donna's illness was portrayed was awful. They literally gave us the impression that she was at deaths door and had weeks to live....there is also a scene of her in a wheelchair which I've never seen since. I'm not saying she is faking her illness or anything like that, you can tell by looking at her that she is ill but it was sooooo heavily dramatised.

i think chronic illness is tricky.
I suffer from one myself and it’s doesn’t follow a “set” step by step plan. It’s unpredictable and you never know how you wake up in the morning.

I be very weary to judge regarding the illness.But that’s just because of my own illness.
