I don’t usually comment on stuff like dummies, routines and stuff that mums get judged about as my generation was before but I agree with Harlow and the dummy. Same with Amber from teen mom uk with Brooklyn. If a child is at an age when they can get absorbed in something or in an instance they don’t need a dummy I don’t think they should have them. I’m only saying this because my daughter had her dummy for such a long time in fact I’m so embarrassed of her age that she had it till that I’m not even gonna put it here even if I am anonymous. And anyone thinking “just take it off them” if anyone has been in this position they know it’s not easy! That was a huge mistake on my part and when I see other peoples toddlers with dummy’s when they don’t really need them it makes me kind of anxious that the child is getting so attached. Not judging just feeling bad for the child and parent at what will happen if they allow them to wander about with a dummy all day long.

Bit late to be posting this now hun. Should of been there with her to take the picture yourself the night before her birthday.

Same as my son. I meant no harm by the comment but if she’s smiling and or talking with it in her mouth same as the twins then it’s time to wean them off or even cut them out. My son was having his dummy until 4 just at night as he’s ASD it was him comforter however I hated it when he would walk around talking but had his dummy in and I regret not taking it off him earlier!!

Awful isn’t it there’s so much to worry about it’s so easy to have your child with the dummy in but some bad later on. It’s nothing to do with shaming at all either so don’t worry about it

this couldn’t be more relevant to me!
I noticed my daughters teeth curving so straight away I’ve taken her dummy’s off her as I got want her to have problems later on!
She’s only 21 months but last night (first night) was horrendous she was up every 2 hours crying for her dummy, it really broke my heart!

I think Charlie and Charlotte are going to have a big battle on their hands and I can’t see them sticking to their guns!

I know I'm sooo late to the party but my gosh, I always imagined the xmas/birthday 'arguement' between separated parents to be more like, "its my turn", "no, its my turn".
Than, "its your turn", "duck off i have her everyday, its not my turn".
How sad for that poor little one.
Also not sure how Brett can say, well it wasn't my day so had allllll my appointments, hmmm surely you don't forget your only child's birth date when making your 'appointments'?.
