Ah yeah I forgot you never get points with first stage also they sometimes used to have the stage 2/3 on offer like 2 for £15 not allowed to do any of that with first stage🙄
Thats mainly to stop people switching their babies formula every other week, to the cheaper on sale stuff ( stage 1). And messing their babies stomachs up all to save some money .

Genuine question! & off topic
My baby is 6 months old and last night slept with a sleeping bag and a cellular blanket over him, is this an overheating risk? Obviously I know most of you won’t be giving expert advice, I’m just wondering. He is still in our room but it was freezing last night.

I think the cellular ones are good/supposed to be used as the holes circulate air and if it was to get pulled up over their face they can still breath? As long as there's no pillow, cot bumper, thick duvet or teddies (That's the info I've always been given) x

this is a good source of reliable information on the safest way for babies to sleep.

Started watching teen mom Auz after it being mentioned on here. Watched an episode and a half, wasn't that into it but will probably finish it anyway since the episodes are so short and only 4 to catch up on!

Re sleeping bags, babies only need that or a blanket when sleeping plus empty cot, my son is over a year now and I've bought him the larger sized sleeping bags as he can have a duvet but he moves around in his sleep and I don't want him getting cold. He does have a pillow though and I gave him a toddler pillow just before a year but up til that point followed all safe sleeping advice as I couldn't relax if I hadn't. No bumpers, no cuddly toys :)

My 7m old sleeping in a sleeping bag and has a blanket. I lay the blanket under the sleeping bag and tuck it in down the sides so she cant pull it over her face. Shes too cold if not.

Btw, it's a breatable blanket, not a fleece or duvet.

it looks like she has about 4 fluffy blankets in there 😩

I wrote her a kind message saying that Harlow shouldn’t have fluffy blankets in her cot, she got funny and said she knows what’s best for her daughter and that I’m a fake and blocked me.

you can’t give advice or help to any of these girls at all. I even sent her a link to a 7 month old baby who died in his cot getting tangled up in the blanket and suffocating.

she doesn’t want to know and just said Harlow won’t sleep without her blankets... so that’ worth the risk I guess! Really sad that these girls take everything as an attack when she could take advice and make Harlow safer.

She won’t sleep without these fluffy blankets, how on earth was she co sleeping then. She must have been covered in these blankets in their bed with a duvet .
She’s doing stories on how she’s done it , and got the baby in her own room. But has a cot full of blankets , she really shouldn’t be giving anyone advice .

Totally agree. She’s giving wrong information which can have dire consequences. Makes me scared of the people who are following her and taking her advice!
